The new Warhammer Underworlds warbands aren’t just great for your battles in Beastgrave – they’ve got a place in your Warhammer Age of Sigmar armies too! Today, we’re taking a peek at the warscrolls for both warbands and offering you a tactical tip or two for using them.
Morgwaeth’s Blade-coven
Morgwaeth’s Blade-coven are usable in Warhammer Age of Sigmar using a pair of warscrolls – one for Morgwaeth, and one for the Blade-coven! On the tabletop, Morgwaeth does everything a Hag Queen does, boasting the Witchbrew and Prayers of Khaine abilities from that warscroll. What makes her valuable for your Daughters of Khaine army is the Blade-coven – these models act as bodyguards for Morgwaeth, intercepting wounds and mortal wounds she might otherwise take. As any
player can attest, Hag Queens are a priority target for your enemies, so having some additional durability is absolutely invaluable.
Morgok’s Krushas
Morgok’s Krushas are simple, brutal and effective. If you have a Big Waaagh! or Ironjawz army, you’ll find them a solid alternative to Brutes, boasting effectively the same warscroll but with a smaller model count and points cost and a bonus for monster hunting. Use them to fill out those last few points in your roster when a full-sized unit of Brutes won’t fit, or when you want to maximise the number of orruk units you have on the field for the Ironjawz Waaagh! and Da Big Waaagh! command abilities.
To make it even sweeter, Morgok’s Krushas have a neat little ability on their warscroll that makes them incredibly dangerous should they be lucky enough to slay an enemy monster – kill one, and they’ll get to re-roll To Wound rolls for the rest of the game!
Don’t take our word for it – download the warscrolls today and see for yourself!
If you collect Daughters of Khaine or Orruk Warclans, you’ll want one of these warbands in your army. Secure them when they go on pre-order this weekend.
