In just three days, you’ll be settling down to watch the first-ever Warhammer Preview Online: Black Library. We brought the news about it last week, but we know you’re dying to find out more about the featured authors and the exclusive reveals that'll be taking place.
The event itself will be a mixture of livestreamed chat and pre-recorded interviews with some of Black Library's biggest and best scribes, who'll be unveiling brand-new projects as well as offering authorial insight on their work.
The lineup is selection of Black Library’s finest, including John French, author of The Solar War, as well as the Ahriman series, the Horusian Wars and the award-winning Agent of the Throne audio drama trilogy. John also wrote several key tales for the Horus Heresy, including the Tallarn saga and Slaves to Darkness.
Guy Haley is one of the masterminds behind the Dawn of Fire series and penned the opening instalment, Avenging Son. He’s written a massive array of stories, including the Siege of Terra novel The Lost and the Damned, the Dark Imperium series, an ongoing saga of the Blood Angels, Horus Heresy novels including Pharos and Wolfsbane, and several entries in the Primarchs series.
You know Graham McNeill for writing some of the key moments in the Horus Heresy saga, including the seminal Vengeful Spirit. That’s not to mention his Ultramarines, Iron Warriors, and Adeptus Mechanicus series, plus a massive range of Warhammer Chronicles books, such as the Legend of Sigmar. His most recent tales have been the Siege of Terra novellas Sons of the Selenar and Fury of Magnus.
Dan Abnett needs no introduction, but it would be rude not to give him one. Most recently, he wrote Saturnine for the Siege of Terra, and he’s best known for the Gaunt’s Ghosts, Eisenhorn, and Ravenor series. He’s also dabbled in Warhammer Chronicles with tales of valiant knights and wandering elves. And did we mention he wrote the first Horus Heresy novel back in 2006, as well as plenty of other beloved entries in the series?
Each author will be unveiling a new book – and maybe some additional surprises – while Black Library’s editorial overlord Nick Kyme will be showing off even more fantastic fiction for you to look forward to.
Now you know the authors, but what books will they be revealing? Head to the Black Library Facebook page and let the speculation begin – and tune in to Twitch on Saturday to see it all live!
