March is here, and with it comes a brand new issue of White Dwarf magazine. This is one that you definitely don’t want to miss. Without further ado, let’s take a peek at what you can expect inside.
Included with each physical copy of March’s issue, you’ll find:
– A Steam voucher containing a code that will unlock a whole bunch of awesome Warhammer games for free!
– A 56-page printed booklet – Warhammer 40,000 Chapter Approved: Munitorum Field Manual 2021 MK I. Inside are updates to the points values for every unit of every faction for use in Warhammer 40,000 (including Forge World units), and it’s the only way you can get a printed version of these points.
Cool, huh? Now we’ve dealt with that (very awesome) oliphaunt in the room, here are the contents of March’s issue so you can see what’s covered this month.
Let’s take a look at a few of our favourite articles in this month’s magazine, starting in the grim darkness of the far future.
Index Astartes: Exorcists
The Exorcists have long been held among the most controversial Chapters of Space Marines, and with good reason. Forged from the genetic stock of the Primarch Rogal Dorn, they share many of the stoic traits of Imperial Fists successors. Yet, they’re also possessed (quite literally) of a unique quality unlike that of any other Chapter.
Were the wider Imperium to learn the source of the Exorcists’ apparent resistance to the otherworldly powers of Chaos, they would undoubtedly declare them Traitoris Extremis and purge them from existence.
You can read all about their shocking lore, then field them in battle thanks to an official rules supplement for Codex: Space Marines, which includes their bespoke Chapter Tactic, By My Will I Deny Thee.
That’s just a cheeky teaser for you – but it sounds rather dubious, right? Next up is our top pick from the Mortal Realms.
Battle Report – War of Flesh and Bone
This isn’t just any old Battle Report. Not only is it a three-parter, but it also features – and even includes warscrolls for – two rival lords of Death from the Charnel Kingdom content in Issue 461. If you enjoyed reading all the lore from last month’s Flashpoint: Broken Realms, whatever you do, don’t miss the three doses of battlefield action included in this issue.
For our third choice this month, we couldn’t help but be seduced by both the title and opening battle scene of this little (by which we mean epic) number.
Slayer of Gods
Welcome to the Warmaster Titan’s White Dwarf debut. In this article, this truly monstrous Heavy Battle Titan is the star of two narrative missions that you can refight, representing some of the first engine wars into which the Warmaster was unleashed.
If you can’t wait to see your mighty new god-engine duking it out with other Titans on the battlefield, make sure you pick up this month’s issue.
We’ve barely scratched the surface of what awaits you in March’s issue, so watch out for more detailed previews of the magazine’s features in the coming weeks. Make sure that you never miss an issue of White Dwarf by subscribing, and you’ll get it delivered right to your door.
