In last month’s Visions of Glory, we introduced Toofdagga, one of the boyz from Hedkrakka’s Madmob. Since then, we’ve seen the entire warband in the recent Warhammer Preview Online. Now, we’re properly meetin’ da boss – say “hello” to Hedkrakka, the Gob of Gork.
Brutal but Kunnin’
Hedkrakka heard the voice of the violent god Gorkamorka speaking through his serpent familiar. It had a simple message for him and his Madmob – start the biggest hunt ever and slay Beastgrave, the living mountain. Of course, Bonesplitterz don’t worry about practicalities such as how to actually kill a mountain, so they set off across Ghur.
Kunnin’ but Brutal
Not only is Hedkrakka the leader of the warband, but he’s also a powerful wizard (as you’d expect from the chosen of Gorkamorka) and can Inspire any member of the warband when you have the Primacy token.*
Orruk Objectives and Potent Power Cards
Hedkrakka’s Madmob plays well as a flex warband, giving you the options of killing enemy fighters or jumping on objectives to claim the Primacy token. Doing the latter can lead to the triple whammy of claiming the Primacy token, Inspiring a fighter, AND scoring the Eye of Gorkamorka objective card.
Hedkrakka’s Madmob also comes with universal cards that are perfect for warbands looking to build a deck focusing on the Primacy token. Any fighter will look good in the Armour of Confidence, but we think it will give Morgok’s Krushas a particularly snazzy vibe.
Another warband that might also like Armour of Confidence is, no wait, we’re not allowed to tell you about them yet. We can give you a sneaky little glimpse though.
Sorry, but that’s all we can show you!** Don’t worry, we’ll be revealing them soon enough, and we’ll be taking a look at all of the cards that come with Hedkrakka’s Madmob as we get closer to their release date. In the meantime, get ready to join Hedkrakka’s hunt by picking up the Direchasm boxed set.
* You can claim the Primacy token by taking an enemy fighter with no wounds out of action with an Attack, taking an enemy leader out of action with an Attack, or by holding four or more objectives after an activation.
