A new warband comes to Direchasm tasked with a celestial goal. Can they overcome the others, such as Khagra’s Ravagers, and accomplish their task?
The Slann Starmasters have sent the Starblood Stalkers to calm the living mountain. Their horoscope warned that if left unchecked, Chaos’ corrupting power could transform Beastgrave into a demigod that would wreak havoc across Ghur and beyond.* Acting fast, the hunting party jumped straight onto the first express Stegadon heading towards the mountain.
Led by the Skink Priest Kixi-Taka, they’re bolstered by the presence of the Saurus Oldblood Klaq-Trok.** The Starblood Stalkers also bring with them an artefact that will compel the mountain to consume itself in self-destructive madness – if they place it in the correct position.
Of course, to plant their device, they need to fight past the other warbands that have made their way to the mountain – from Myari’s Purifiers and the Dread Pageant to Morgok’s Krushas and beyond. Only by sticking to the Great Plan can the Starblood Stalkers hope to succeed.
The Starblood Stalkers are available to pre-order from Saturday the 20th of March. Check back next week as we’ll be taking a closer look at the play style of the warband and the individual fighters, as well as sharing all of the cards from the set. In the meantime, join us on the Warhammer Underworlds Facebook page to let us know how you plan on stopping the Starblood Stalkers.
* Only the Starblood Stalkers can save the Mortal Realms. Remember that next time that you’re playing Warhammer Underworlds. No pressure.
** Because sometimes a blowpipe just isn’t enough, and you need to hit something over the head with a warmaul instead.
