The next wave of reinforcements for the Lumineth Realm-lords is almost here, and this week we’re looking at one key rule each day that’ll shake up the Mortal Realms when Hysh’s finest take to the field. Now, in true Teclis fashion, we’re going to immediately break our own rules and look at two things today instead.
A society as glorious and mighty as the Lumineth Realm-lords is the perfect breeding ground for legendary champions, so it should come as no surprise that Teclis’ grand plans will see two new named Heroes come to the fore. Well, technically three.
Ellania and Ellathor, Eclipsian Warsages
Having excelled in every lesson and trial they were subjected to, twins Ellania and Ellathor came to be hailed as exemplars of the Lumineth ways. Where the former was studious and steady in the manner of Teclis, the latter was fierce and determined like his patron Tyrion.
Together, they were tasked by the twin gods themselves with visiting every corner of the Mortal Realms, gifted with powerful artefacts to bring reason and understanding to all of the followers of Order.
Given their natural bond and how they’re rarely seen apart, it’s rather fitting that the two Warsages arrive as a single model. By combining Ellania’s magical prowess with Ellathor’s martial might, they’re fully equipped to tackle any foe they might come across.
The sword Altairi, in particular, becomes more and more adept at scything through the enemy’s ranks as the game goes on.
Their adventures through the realms often lead to them forming connections with other forces of Order. In an unexpected turn for the usually haughty aelves, Ellania and Ellathor are quite happy to work under an allied general – in fact, they’ll even offer their sage advice on the battlefield.
Lyrior Uthralle, Warden of Ymetrica
The proud warrior traditions of the Tyrionic nations demand an equally proud and capable general to lead them, and as Lord Regent Supreme, Lyrior Uthralle is that and more. Not only is he a masterful commander at the fore of his Ymetrican host, but he’s also a capable statesman who represents the interests of his fellow Tyrionic people when matters of the realm are debated.
He doesn’t just order his troops around – Lyrior speaks with the Voice of Tyrion himself. Having the authority of a god behind him allows the Warden an unmatched level of command in military matters, and his armies respond unquestioningly to his every order.
As a master of mounted combat, only the best magical lance will do, and Daemonbane is just that. Able to strike with unerring accuracy and pierce the toughest armour, its best party trick is the ability to send out a searing beam of exorcising light to strike enemies across the battlefield. As its name would suggest, both the lance itself and its cleansing beams are especially harmful to the minions of Chaos.
Don’t forget to add these two powerful Heroes to your army when the new Lumineth Realm-lords kits arrive for pre-order on Saturday.
