Warhammer Day 2021 – The Warhawk of Chogoris Gets an Incredible Model At Last

WHDay HH Oct30 Header

Our Warhammer Day coverage continues with a hotly anticipated reveal from the Age of Darkness.

That’s right, the last Primarch* is finally getting a miniature – and what a miniature it is too! Behold the mighty Warhawk of Chogoris in all his grandeur.

Jaghatai Khan, the Primarch of the White Scars is fiercely proud and something of an outsider among his brothers, though as much by his own choice as the neglect of his kin. He revels in the hunt, but it’s once he’s run his prey to ground that Jaghatai excels – his lightning swiftness with a blade is such that many consider him the most skilled swordsman of all the Primarchs.

If you’ve been keeping up with the epic Siege of Terra series, you’ll know that Jaghatai takes centre stage in the most recent novel, Warhawk, in which the Great Khan enacts a bold stratagem to reclaim the Lion’s Gate space port and cut off the Warmaster’s seemingly endless supply of reinforcements.

Reading about Jaghatai is one thing – unleashing him on the battlefield against the Traitor Legions is quite another! You won’t have long to wait before you can field the master of lightning warfare in your games of Horus Heresy, as he’ll be available early next year.

Of course, many of you will simply want to complete your collection of Primarchs or to paint him up as a suitably impressive display piece. This glorious new miniature will certainly make for a wonderful painting project.

This is just one part of our Warhammer Day Preview Online, which includes announcements for Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, and much more besides. Check out the Warhammer Day homepage to catch up on the full livestream, and find links to all the breaking news. We’ve got one final reveal very shortly…

* Well, technically there are (or at least were) two more, but it’s best not to mention them – we don’t want to upset Malcador!
