Welcome, fans of highly detailed miniature Space Marine action figures! Our friends over at JOYTOY recently deployed a whole vanguard of Ultramarine Incursors and Infiltrators action figures.
Shortly afterwards, we saw the first half of wave two, the well-armed and ready-for-anything Ultramarine Intercessors, and their fierce cousins from the Blood Angels Death Company.
Now we can properly explore the rest of the second wave, starting with the not so sneaky Invictor Warsuit.
This hefty war machine is the lighter-armoured scout equivalent of the Redemptor Dreadnought, a walker which carries a big gun on its mechanical hip that it wields as a pistol. The fingers on this particular Warsuit are designed so it can hold the weapon for even more poseable potential.
Standing 30cm tall with 45 articulated joints, hydraulic rods in the thighs, maximum stability, special gear joints let this beast of a toy stand tall in an incredible array of poses.
It even comes with a fully kitted-out Infiltrator as a pilot, which is great if you want to round out your Combat Squad, as his squad markings match the rest of the Infiltrators released earlier in the year.
The final member of wave two is literally mind-blowing, in the sense that his psychic powers are so potent he could make your head explode. That’s right – it’s a Primaris Librarian, complete with a force sword and that swish overcoat.
With 28 points of articulation, and a soft plastic cloak made that remains vivid and durable as you pose him, this is the first Character model that JOYTOY has made for Warhammer, and it’s stunning.
All the care in the world has been taken on the little details, right down to his regal moustache and those white-hot “now you’re dead” eyes.
As with the first wave, these will only be available for a short time, so keep an eye on Warhammer Community to find out when you can get your hands on this pint-sized hero and his chunky Warsuit pal.
