On the edge of the roiling warp storms that plague the Nachmund Gauntlet, the bloodthirsty hunters of Craftworld Saim-Hann are set to clash with an elite Forgeborn Warband. Their prize? The Exodite world of Daethe and the souls of all its inhabitants…
You’ll be able to join in the conflict on either side with Eldritch Omens, the next battlebox coming to Warhammer 40,000. We’ve cast the runes and can now bring you more information on what awaits within...
1. Brand. New. Miniatures.
Packed with 15 brand new miniatures, plus your choice of Forgefiend or Maulerfiend, Eldritch Omens reimagines the classic Aeldari Rangers and Heretic Astartes Chosen. Not content with simply being stealthy, the Aeldari are also bringing Shroud Runner jetbikes with them, high-speed firing platforms from which skilled snipers can pull off wicked trickshots.*
These new miniatures are bristling with details that embody the ideals of each faction – elegant cloaks and esoteric wargear on the Aeldari side, and sharp edges and cruel weaponry for the champions of Chaos. What’s your style: robes or spikes?
Leading these two ancient enemies are an Autarch and a Warpsmith, representing two heroes who shape the story and kick off the larger narrative for the upcoming season of Warhammer 40,000.
2. D’vok the Unmaker
The ambitious Warpsmith D’vok the Unmaker once flew the banner of the Iron Warriors, but his scheming kicked off a civil war that tore his warband apart. Abandoning their former comrades, D’vok and his most elite followers stole away with several packs of Daemon Engines to join Abaddon’s Black Legion.
Guided to Daethe by an ancient star chart, the Warpsmith and his Forgeborn have constructed a ring of Noctilith Crowns to harness the spirit energy of this Aeldari maiden world. Now, he plans to weaponise the souls of slaughtered Exodites to supercharge his vile machines and curry favour with the Warmaster.**
3. Autarch Ghaelyn
When the great clans of Craftworld Saim-Hann first picked up a psychic distress call from Daethe, most chieftains were hesitant to respond, believing it a trap. It was the hot-blooded Autarch Ghaelyn – known as the Bloodied Fang – who shouldered the challenge, throwing caution to the wind to avenge her Exodite allies.
This is because she is, in a word, awesome. Ghaelyn is not just the daring commander of the Zephyrborne Hunt, or a skilled combatant who has walked the Path of the Warrior in countless Aspects – she is also a peerless rider, renowned for her spectacular victories in Saim-Hann’s jetbike races.
4. The Battle for Daethe
You’ll be able to recreate the clash between these two champions with the Eldritch Omens booklet, which includes two new missions as well as Crusade rules for both warbands – allowing D’vok to develop Sentient Mechatendrils or Ghaelyn to claim the vengeful Exile Glaive.
5. The Rest of the Box (and When You Can Get It)
Also found in the book is a new Theatre of War – Goliath Down, which offers a warband of plucky Aeldari underdogs all the cunning Ruses they’ll need to evade, sabotage, and destroy the enemy’s biggest threats… such as D’vok’s frenzied Forgefiend.
Eldritch Omens is due to hit pre-order in February, and our pre-order weekend promise will ensure that anyone who orders a copy that weekend is guaranteed to get one.
And with a warhost of new Aeldari miniatures rapidly heading this way, Craftworlds players will soon be able to expand their campaign of revenge even further.
Avoid missing out on any of these releases by signing up to the Warhammer Community newsletter, ensuring you get the latest news delivered straight to your inbox.
* Aeldari snipers are so skilled that firing from the back of a speeding jetbike is considered only a mild inconvenience.
** Instead of an Infinity Circuit, Exodite worlds are embedded with a network of psychocrystalline structures that form a world spirit.
