There’s another incredible new series on the horizon for Warhammer+. With a decidedly dark flavour, Interrogator is one for fans of the grittier side of Warhammer – and you can watch its stylish intro sequence right here.
Interrogator is a grim and mature thriller set within the world of Warhammer 40,000, inspired by classic noir thrillers but with that inimitable Imperial twist. This sleek animated series is set to arrive this Spring, and take it from us – it’s probably one you’ll want to watch after the kids have gone to bed.
This is a very human Warhammer story. It’s not a grand tale of epic conquest, it’s not set in an active warzone, and there are no Adeptus Astartes coming to the rescue. It just goes to show that even in the relative civilisation and comfort of an Imperial world, a messy end is never too far away.
This truly is a series for more mature audiences, guaranteed to appeal to fans of Warhammer Crime and other dark corners of Warhammer fiction. It deals with heavy concepts like addiction, is at times viscerally violent, and even uses a range of colourful four-letter words that haven’t gone out of style after 38,000 years.
