The Siege of Terra is an epic tale, and with Saturnine coming to paperback this weekend – alongside models for two of its heroes – it’s time for a recap. But can anyone tell the entire story in just 60 seconds? Warning: if you’ve not read all of the Siege of Terra series yet, this video contains major spoilers!
Apparently not! You just can’t cram that much awesomeness into so little time. In fairness to Wade, there's a lot to unpack, with six novels and two novellas – so far – in the Siege of Terra series (as well as the 54 books in the preceding Horus Heresy series!)
Saturnine is the fourth episode in the Warmaster’s assault on the Throneworld, and it’s available in paperback for the first time this weekend. It sees Horus and his cronies knocking on the doors to the Imperial Palace, while Rogal Dorn plays a desperate game of 4D chess* to keep them out.
Fortunately, the Praetorian of Terra has an excellent map to plan out his defences. This sumptuous A2-sized map – which was included in the original limited edition of Saturnine – will soon be available for any fan to plot their attack on the Imperial Palace.
And in Fafnir Rann and Dominion Zephon, Dorn has a pair of warriors who can repel any breach almost single-handedly. These are the first miniatures that we’ve released depicting characters specifically from the Siege of Terra, and they’re both coming in plastic.
