The Chaos Space Marines in Kill Team: Nachmund are really scary – they can receive dark blessings from Marks of Chaos, the Balefire Acolyte can toss burning pinballs behind cover, and the Butcher can slay three operatives in a single turn. To defeat them and emerge victorious in the smoke-filled killzones of Nachmund, the Corsair Voidscarred are going to have to fight smarter. That’s where the Soul Weaver comes in.
The eclectic raiders that make up a Corsair warband come from all walks of Aeldari life, and those drawn from a craftworld bear a spirit stone. This psychoreactive gem absorbs an Aeldari’s soul when they perish, keeping it safe from the hunger of Slaanesh until it can be returned to its craftworld – and perhaps be installed in a sleek wraithbone construct.
Soul Weavers have a different approach. These spacefaring mystics are draped in spirit stones, but they’re not just accessorising with their outfit* – they wield the power and knowledge of the Aeldari souls stored within (both friend and foe), to enhance the abilities of friendly operatives. And they just might be the best support operative in Kill Team.
As a PSYKER, the Soul Weaver can perform two unique psychic actions on her turn. First up, she can use Soul Heal to restore operatives who have been wounded.
Not only is Soul Heal great for keeping your Corsairs in the fight for longer, it’s perfect for restoring an injured fighter to full capacity. If an operative has fewer than half of their wounds remaining, they suffer penalties to their Movement, Ballistic Skill and Weapon Skill characteristics – pump a Voidscarred Warrior full of healthy soul energy, and watch them regain their vim and vigour.
Their second unique psychic action is Soul Channel, which you can use to add to another operative’s APL.
The Aeldari Raiders ability already gives Corsairs a free Dash action – combined with Soul Channel, you can potentially perform four actions in a turn. Take that, Adeptus Custodes! Guided by a Soul Weaver, your operatives can Fall Back from Engagement Range, Dash into the distance, and Shoot at a pursuing Legionary in just one activation.
Or why not use it on a Shade Runner? Toss out some throwing knives, teleport across the killzone, stab a guy in the back, dive into cover, and still have 1AP left to hack through a firewall – all while staying hidden with a Conceal order. The more tactically-minded can even use Soul Channel to ensure they have a sufficient APL total to control an objective.
It’s like we said – you have to be a little bit sneaky to thrive among the Corsairs.

* The Incubi of Commorragh, on the other hand, deliberately shatter their spirit stone trophies – so Drazhar is absolutely just flexing.
