Hype is at an all-time high for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. When we first revealed the new edition during Warhammer Fest, we covered the contents of the Age of Darkness boxed set. We also invited loads of folks from the global Warhammer community to join us at Warhammer World in Nottingham to paint some shiny new plastic models and play their first games with the new rules.
These prominent painters and players have already given us their thoughts on the setting – now it’s time to hear what they think about the new edition and its loaded boxed set.
These hobby heroes had a lot to say about the plastic miniatures you’ll find in the Age of Darkness box – as they had the opportunity to paint them all up in the colours of their chosen Legion.* You’ll have already spotted some of these in our ongoing series of impartial Legion Day reviews – and we’ve mustered a few of our favourites into the gallery below.
The Age of Darkness box is just the beginning – every Thursday, we’re bringing you fresh insights into some of the amazing Horus Heresy releases headed your way very soon, such as plastic Sicaran tanks, Legionary weapon upgrade sets, and detailed helmets and pauldrons for each Legion.
Check back each week for more news – even better, sign up for the newsletter and we’ll send it to you directly. You’ll never miss out!
