Do you like video games set in grim futures, fantastical realms, old worlds, and deadly sporting arenas? Good news! The Warhammer Skulls festival is back.
This year’s live show packed tons of trailers and three new game reveals into one epic digital extravaganza – and if you missed it the first time around, you can catch up on everything below. We even had an appearance from Space Marine 2’s Titus – known around these parts as Clive Standen.
With so much to show off, where could we possibly begin? How about a trip to the embattled hive city of Tertium, for an appointment with some unsavoury characters…
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide
The latest cinematic trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide takes us back to Atoma Prime and the depths of the hive city Tertium, where an attack from the forces of Nurgle has spread a vicious contagion through the city. As defence forces fall to corruption and civilians transform into flesh-hungry monsters, the Imperium must turn to an unlikely band of criminals for salvation.
The trailer also features the haunting musical stylings of BAFTA award-winning composer Jesper Kyd, who returns from Warhammer: Vermintide and Vermintide 2. The soundtrack provides the perfect backdrop for a bit of dark and gloomy heretic-slaying, aided by the unnatural power of the newly revealed psyker character.
Take control of Tertium’s fate when Warhammer 40,000: Darktide launches on PC and Xbox this September 13th, with pre-orders for the Standard edition and deluxe Imperium edition open now.
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader
Void exploration. Ancient treasures. Sinister secrets. Sounds like a job for a Rogue Trader.
Embark on a journey to the dark reaches of the Imperium in Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, the first-ever cRPG set in the worlds of Warhammer, coming to PC and consoles. Award-winning developers Owlcat Games present an adventure full of fascinating characters, non-linear quests, and fateful decisions that will shape the outcome of your game.
A compelling cast of companions and exciting turn-based combat awaits, and dedicated RPG fans can get involved with Rogue Trader early with a Founders Pack – launching today with Warhammer Skulls 2022.
Total War: Warhammer III
The smash-hit grand strategy game finally catches a glimpse of Immortal Empires – its long-awaited combined-map game mode. Featuring the armies from all three Total War: Warhammer games scrapping in a gigantic world, this is quite possibly the grandest campaign ever seen in a video game.
Eager fans can get their first taste of Immortal Empires campaign in an upcoming Open Beta, opening in Q3 this year. Keep an eye on totalwar.com for more news soon.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun

This single-player FPS is dripping with nostalgic charm, from intensely lethal weapons to pumping tunes, and combines fast-paced action with all the guns and gore you’d expect from the 41st Millennium.
