Get your new miniature painted by taking advantage of the Citadel Colour Pick ‘n’ Mix Paint Set. Choose any 10 paints, and you’ll get the most expensive one free! Your Clanrat will be ready to start gnawing at the roots of the Mortal Realms before you know it.
To give your new skaven some appropriate dirt and grime, you could pick up some paints such as Agrax Earthshade to give your Clanrat that proper grubby look and try out Cadian Fleshtone, which works really well on skaven skin. Grab some Leadbelcher for those rusty weapons, Khorne Red for their rodent robes, and Screaming Skull for the teeth. Skaven fur and shields also look suitably filthy when painted with Dryad Bark and Baneblade Brown. For extra detail, you could even create a sickly shimmer to any charms or runes with Warpstone Glow and add even more wear to weapons and armour with Nuln Oil.
If you’re new to painting skaven, our helpful staff in store will be able to give you some top tips on choosing paints and show you simple techniques to get your Clanrat ready for action.* Make sure to keep an eye on the Citadel Colour website for more painting tutorials.
While you’re in store, you can also pick up July’s commemorative coin! Ask staff how you can get your hands on yours.
Already got a burgeoning Warhammer coin collection? When you’ve collected at least six different examples, you’ll be able to get this beautiful display album to really show off your collection.
The coins, albums, and the miniature of the month are only available while stocks last, so head down to your local Warhammer store from the 2nd of July.
There are also several store anniversaries coming up in July. Head on down to join the party, and you’ll be able to pick up celebratory items such as miniatures and other swag. Speak with your local store to find out what will be available.
Whether it’s your local store’s birthday or not, bring down a friend and introduce them to Warhammer. Not only will they be able to pick up a free Space Marine or Stormcast Eternal starter miniature and play an exciting game in store, but they can also sign up for the Battle Honours programme. They can even get a free lesson in how to paint their new model!
