Cast Your Vote To See a Fan Favourite Novel Return To Print With the Black Library Reader’s Choice

Header

Every year, the cowled Black Library scriveners come to us with a note in their ink-stained hands. It contains a list of books they believe that the community at large would like to see return in a limited paperback run.

Unfortunately, to keep the machine spirits happy, they can only print one book from each category – which is where we need help from readers at home to choose which tales to revisit. Make yourself heard by voting for your favourite book from a list of stories set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, and another collection of tomes from Warhammer Age of Sigmar and the World-That-Was.

Reader’s Choice: Warhammer 40,000

Warhammer 40,000 Books

Lord Commander Macharius clashes with the dreaded Angel of Fire, who holds dominion over the city of Irongrad, in this novel by William King.

Steve Parker brings more Astra Militarum action in Rebel Winter, which pits the Vostroyan Firstborn against hordes of bloodthirsty Orks, and a bunch of traitorous rebels.

Ben Counter’s Hammer of Daemons whisks the Grey Knight Alaric away into the Eye of Terror, where he is forced to fight in a daemonic gladiatorial arena for the amusement of the dark powers of the Immaterium.

The Gildar Rift by Sarah Cawkwell pits the Silver Skulls against Huron Blackheart’s entire renegade fleet, with the Adeptus Astartes as the last line of defence between Chaos and the imperilled world of Gildar Secundus.

Finally, Chris Wraight’s Wrath of Iron sets the Iron Hands in conflict with the forces of Slaanesh, in a war that links back to the Horus Heresy and the death of their Primarch Ferrus Manus.

Reader’s Choice: The Old World and Warhammer Age of Sigmar

The Old World and Warhammer Age of Sigmar Books

The Realms of Metal and Life are the setting for an epic conflict between Sigmar’s Stormcast Eternals and the forces of Chaos in War Storm, book one of the Realmgate Wars series, which features novellas by Nick Kyme, Guy Haley, and Josh Reynolds.

David Guymer brings Hamilcar Bear-Eater to his first full-length novel in Hamilcar: Champion of The Gods, in which this larger-than-life hero is forced to fight for his immortal soul.

Arkhan the Black and Mannfred von Carstein put aside their petty rivalries in a quest to resurrect everyone’s favourite necromancer in Josh Reynolds’ End Times novel, The Return of Nagash.

Get a slice of maniacal greenskin action in Guy Haley’s Skarsnik, which creates a compelling, hilarious, and terrifying portrait of that famous goblin chieftain from the World-That-Was.

Darius Hinks’ Sigvald follows the vainest of all the characters of the Old World in a quest across the maddening Chaos Wastes as he becomes obsessed with claiming the Brass Skull of Khorne.

That’s quite the selection! Here’s the tricky bit – which book do you want to see return? You only have one vote per category, so choose wisely.
