Drekki Flynt and Cado Ezechiar prepare to stride out of the pages of their debut novels, The Arkanaut’s Oath and The Hollow King, as two incredible miniatures, both available for pre-order this Saturday.
We’ve discussed these characters and their exploits previously, and today you can get hold of warscrolls and a custom narrative battleplan for each.
Cado Ezechiar’s Rules and Battleplan
In Black Library tales, the Soulblight vampire Cado Ezechiar fights for vengeance with supernatural martial prowess – and his ability to call upon the spirits of his lost court, who are bound to magical rings.
In game terms, the Court of the Lost enhances Cado’s spellcasting, movement, or combat capabilities, while his Ezechiarian Greatsword boasts 5 Attacks at Rend -2 which deal 2 Damage apiece.
The Soulsearching battleplan pits Cado and a roving band of mercenaries against a warlord’s tower packed with guards, revellers, and nobles. Each quarter of the battlefield represents a floor of the fortress that the Hollow King must fight his way up in a gruelling gauntlet of custom rules.
Drekki Flynt’s Rules and Battleplan
Drekki Flynt is just at home in battle as he is revelling in taverns across the Mortal Realms. Every Kharadron raconteur needs his trusty ship, and Drekki lets you nominate one Barak-Mhornar Arkanaut Frigate as his very own, the Aelsling.
In command of this craft, and while armed with his ever-reliable triple-barrelled pistol, he can truly make waves. His unique Equaliser MK.III pumps out 2D6 shots with Rend -1 and 2 Damage, helping him live up to his legend.
Fittingly, Drekki’s battleplan is Mutiny on the Aelsling. Two armies made up of a motley band of heroes battle it out for control of the ship, with unique command abilities such as Daring Rope Swing.* Take the wheel to win, while watching your footing and keeping an eye out for the hungry Harkraken writhing below.

Painting Guides
Part of the joy of these amazing new characters is making them look just like they do in the books. Or, more accurately, as they do on their covers...
Find out how to paint the vampiric Cado Ezechiar to convey his sullen, revenge-obsessed attitude with this guide to his age-worn gear.
And bring braggadocious Drekki Flynt to life in all of his buccaneering glory with a video that shows you how to paint gleaming armour.
You can pre-order both heroes and their respective books The Hollow King and The Arkanaut’s Oath from this Saturday.
* You can’t have a battle on a ship without a daring rope swing, even in the Mortal Realms.
