It’s been six months since the gates of Total War: Warhammer III opened and players began to campaign across the blasted north of the Old World. The four Chaos Gods each sent one of their greatest daemons to conquer in their name, but now new leaders are arriving to get things done – alongside your first steps into the epic Immortal Empires campaign.
The massive Champions of Chaos DLC is available now. It adds four new Legendary Lords to the Warriors of Chaos faction – one for each of the Dark Gods – plus more than 50 new units and a new campaign focused on the ancient arena-city of Zanbaijin.
Valkia the Bloody
Raised to daemonhood from mortal life for her violent deeds, Valkia is a winged warrior who dives into the thickest melees with the barbed Spear of Slaupnir and her grotesque shield, which bears the still-living head of a vanquished Daemon of Slaanesh.
Festus the Leechlord
Among the most sinister of the Plague God’s favoured, Festus is a deranged doctor who cares only for advancing his septic studies as he casts the world into a mire of corruption and pestilence.
Vilitch the Curseling
Two heads are better than one, so Tzeentch merged a powerful Norscan champion with his frail, sorcerous brother to form Vilitch the Curseling – a sinister warrior-wizard commanding the forces of change.
Azazel, Prince of Damnation
As prideful as he is powerful, the Daemon Prince Azazel spreads destruction and debauchery. He’s a versatile winged fighter with customarily low Slaaneshi armour, who can mix it up in close combat or sling powerful spells.
This feature-packed expansion also adds over 50 new units to Total War: Warhammer III, including the imposing Chaos Warshrine and mighty new varieties of Chaos Chosen. It pits the new Lords against each other in a vicious campaign for the arena-city of Zanbaijin.
Immortal Empires Beta
Take your conquest to the grandest stage of all with the public beta for Immortal Empires – a colossal mega-campaign merging the maps from all three Total War: Warhammer games into one enormous whole. 86 Legendary Lords from 23 distinct factions vie for supremacy of the entire planet, from the jungles of Lustria to the far corners of Cathay, tackling world-ending crises and the ambitions of their rivals.
This is the most complete and expansive Warhammer strategy experience ever, answering important questions such as “Can Ogres eat Tomb Kings?” or “Who would win: Tyrion with the Sword of Khaine or the entire Chaos Wastes?” Veterans will find plenty to see and do in in Immortal Empires, and many older factions earn gameplay upgrades.
Both the Champions of Chaos DLC and the Immortal Empires Beta are available right now, so drop what you’re doing and head off for another expedition into the Warhammer world.
