As summer ends and the seasons shift, the dread chill of the Everwinter gets closer and the ogors rouse from their lairs. Most of them are after nothing more than fresh meat, but some are on the hunt for glory.
The Bloodpelt Hunter is a curious ogor – while most of his fellows immediately eat their prey and leave only marrow-sucked bones behind, he keeps whole body parts intact, preserved and strung about his person as trophies.
The Hunter puts these grisly keepsakes to practical use. He stores crossbow bolts in a hollowed-out head, and uses thick pelts to protect against the elements.
The Bloodpelt Hunter employs all of his hunting prowess to bring down the biggest and baddest beasts he can find with the help of his Skullshatter Crossbow, a simple weapon that nevertheless rivals a full ballista in size and power.
Rules for this cunning poacher will be sneaking out inside a brand new Battletome: Ogre Mawtribes, which will arrive in a one-two punch of Destruction alongside Battletome: Sons of Behemat.
