Breathtaking Kill Teams From Across the Warhammer Community

SSPreview KT Jul10 Header1

The incredible Kill Team: Into the Dark boxed set is now available in your local store. To celebrate, we asked the Warhammer Community on Twitter to share pictures of their favourite kill teams, which they're preparing to take into the confines of the Gallowdark. Here are some of our favourites.

We loved this stunning black and white paint scheme, and the fact this kill team makes use of the new rules Intercession squads, combining Intercessors and Assault Intercessors into an even deadlier squad of special operatives.

These Night Lords operatives are based on the Legionaries kill team. We have to say, we’re a little bit disturbed at how realistic all of that flayed flesh looks.

This Tempestus Scions kill team makes great use of objective source lighting. Let’s be honest, you’re going to need all the light you can get in the depths of the Gallowdark.

These Veteran Guardsmen look more than ready to take on the enemies of the Imperium, be it with the bayonet or the ultimate weapon – the shovel. Plus, if they get to sacrifice themselves in the God-Emperor’s name, it’s even better.

We adore the regal purple and gold on this Imperial Navy Breacher Team.* They look like they could go and meet the Emperor after they’ve finished clearing a space hulk. Plus, who doesn’t want to adopt a C.A.T.?

@PSippitt

The skulls on the bases are a testament to how successful these Ork Kommandos have been behind enemy lines. We especially like the mixture of blood and rust on the boyz’ weapons.

Only an Iron Warriors fan would see the Arco-flagellants kit and see the potential for making Chaos Cultists. These conversions are so good, we’re sure that even the staunchest of Imperial Fists players will be impressed.

Looking at the incredible weathering on these Intercessors, we can tell these operatives have been very busy. Fortunately, there are always new enemies to face!

We’re not sure whether this Deathwatch kill team has been wading through a swamp or has been knee-deep in the brackish water you can find throughout abandoned space hulks. Either way, we think they look great.
