Warhammer 40,000 turns 35 next month, and we’re packing this year’s Warhammer Day – the annual celebration of the world’s best miniatures games – with goodies from the last three-and-a-half decades. Festivities kick off on Saturday the 8th of October with a special live Warhammer preview dedicated to all things Warhammer 40,000 and Kill Team.
You can catch the live show from 2pm BST (9am EDT) on the Warhammer Twitch channel, but if you can’t make it, Warhammer Community will have the full run-down soon after.
There’s plenty to reveal, and one lucky person will walk away with everything we’re showing off – for free. All you need to do is have an active MyWarhammer account and sign up to the Warhammer Community newsletter using this link,* and a winner will be randomly chosen after the competition closes at midnight on the 10th of October.
Local Warhammer stores will have fun activities to take part in all week, from painting competitions to gaming events, themed around the history of Warhammer 40,000. If you’ve ever felt a pang of nostalgia for Goblin Green bases and bright red guns, contact your store and find out what’s on.
You can acquire this year’s mind-blowing commemorative miniature, Bayard’s Revenge at your local Warhammer store, through the Games Workshop webstore, or from independent stockists.** This incredible piece will only be available for a short time – you can pre-order it from the 8th of October, and it will be on sale from the 15th until the 23rd.
Tune into the Warhammer Twitch channel from 2pm BST (9am EDT) to catch the next Warhammer 40,000 releases. See you there!
** Bayard’s Revenge is slightly delayed in China, but it will be available shortly.
