War of the Fang, is the gripping tale of Magnus the Red’s murderous attempt to wreak vengeance on the wolves of Fenris. Chris Wraight brings to life one of the bitterest feuds in the Warhammer 40,000 setting in vivid, visceral detail.

It is M32, a thousand years after the Horus Heresy. The Scouring is over and the Imperium at the height of its post-Crusade power. When Magnus the Red is tracked down to Gangava Prime, the Space Wolves hasten to engage the daemon primarch. Even as Great Wolf Harek Ironhelm closes on his ancient enemy, the Fang on the Space Wolves home world is besieged by a massive force of Thousand Sons. A desperate battle ensues as the skeleton forces of Wolf Lord Vaer Greylock attempt to hold back the attacking hosts before the last of his meagre defences gives in. Though a single Scout ship survives to summon Great Wolf Harek Ironhelm back to Fenris, none of the defenders truly realise the full scale the horror that awaits them, nor what the Battle for the Fang will cost them all.

Guy Haley’s epic Dark Imperium trilogy also returns as a special boxed edition. Dark Imperium tells the tale of Ultramarines Primarch Roboute Guilliman’s exploits during the Indomitus Crusade. Collecting all three novels in the Dark Imperium series (Dark Imperium, Dark Imperium: Plaguewar and Dark Imperium: Godblight), this special edition also includes the short stories In The Grim Darkness, The Armour of Fate and His Will, and encases them all in an ornate presentation slipcase.

Guy offered us a few words about this Special Edition of Dark Imperium.

“It’s so exciting to see the Dark Imperium Trilogy come out in this complete, special edition set. Dark Imperium tells the story of the Primarch Roboute Guilliman’s battles against his brother, the fallen Primarch Mortarion, in the Plague Wars of Ultramar. Set partway through the Indomitus Crusade, Dark Imperium was the first book to delve into the Era Indomitus, and was therefore a huge privilege to write, but I had no idea at the time (2016... Lordy) that it would go on to be my most successful book. It's my proudest achievement as a writer for Black Library, even more so now, with this handsome collection ready to adorn your bookshelves!”

Last but by no means least in this literary trifecta is the much loved Astra Militarum classic, Cadian Blood from Aaron Dembski-Bowden. Originally released back in 2009, Cadian Blood is the tale of a stoic regiment of Cadian Shock Troops who are hurled into the jaws of Chaos.

5th October Article ImagesArtboard 6 “When the Imperial shrine world of Kathur is blighted by Chaos, the brave Guardsmen of Cadia are sent to reclaim it. The plague of Nurgle has set in deeply on the planet, forcing the Cadians into battle with an innumerable legion of the infected. In the midst of battle, Captain Parmenion Thade is thrust into an unlikely commanding role. Yet he cannot imagine what lies ahead on Kathur, and just how important it will be to ensure victory there…”
