Our Operatives Have Secured Images of the New Kill Team Sprues

KT Shadowvaults Header

As part of the Warhammer Day celebrations on Saturday, we showed off the latest expansion for Kill Team – Shadowvaults.

Now we’re eagerly tearing the cellophane off the box to show off the sweet, sweet sprues within.

Kasrkin Kill Team

The Kasrkin are the elite of the elite – the finest troops from the Cadian Astra Militarum forces. Their legacy of excellence continues far beyond Cadia and even extends into the labyrinth that makes up the innards of the Gallowdark.

The new Kasrkin sprues have enough weapon options to defend an entire planet from Abaddon’s attacks. Too soon? There are two plasma guns, two meltaguns, two grenade launchers, two flamers, two hot-shot volley guns,* and all the parts needed to make a vox-trooper, recon-trooper, demo-trooper, sharpshooter, and combat medic.

Hierotek Circle Kill Team

Led by their Cryptek masters, the Hierotek Circle searches the Gallowdark for long-forgotten technology that can be used to return the Necrons to their rightful place of power following their long sleep.**

The new Necron kill team is based on the existing Immortals/Deathmarks kit, and it comes with a new upgrade sprue which lets you build an Apprentek, a Plasmacyte Reanimator, and a Plasmacyte Accelerator. There are also parts to upgrade an Immortal into a Despotek and alternate heads for the Deathmarks.

Terrain

Kill Team: Shadowvaults comes with a whopping 45 pieces of terrain! This includes brand new items such as security panels, weapons lockers, the robot crawler machine (crucial for getting bombs into place in certain missions),*** and a heavy bolter sentry turret.

The terrain in Kill Team: Shadowvaults is a great way to expand your collection from Kill Team: Into the Dark, and it comes just in time for the new Warhammer 40,000 boarding action rules.

Kill Team: Shadowvaults is available for pre-order on Saturday. Join us later in the week when we’ll be showing off some of the rules for the new kill teams, and sign up for our newsletter for all of the latest updates from the depths of the Gallowdark.

* No spades, though.

** Celebrate the awakening of the Necrons with a range of new t-shirts.

*** The box is so packed with terrain you’ll wish you had one of these robots to help you carry it home!
