Wrath comes in many forms in the 41st Millennium. The scorn of an Aeldari Guardian, defending her Craftworld from a primitive interloper. The undying fury of a dreadnought, a Chapter ancient serving his duty beyond even death.
But nothing compares to the unfettered rage of an Ork whose precious hair squig has been stolen by his Warboss.
That’s right – Shootas, Blood & Teef is here, and your ultimate goal in this brutal 2D action shooter is to win your bouncing bouffant back from a no-good thievin’ Ork Warboss Ogruk Gutrekka. Who cares if he’s big, bad, and in the process of smashing up a hive planet – he’s got your barnet, and that means Waaagh!
This frantic 2D run-and-gun platformer is packed with action, massive explosions, and comical dialogue. Smash up the hive world of Luteus Alpha as one of four different classes – Beast Snagga, Weirdboy, Flash Git, and Stormboy – each with its own Orky toolkit.
Battle humies, Genestealer cultists, and other Orks with an arsenal of heavy dakka from the reliable slugga and shoota, to the more exotic squig mine chukka and the brutal deffbeam. Anyone who gets in between you and the reacquisition of your beloved sapient hairpiece will get a face full of dakka.
You can furnish your naked bonce by earning hats from krumpin’ bosses, trading valuable teef earned in the story mode, or completing a variety of milestones. Greenskin cinematics weave themselves through the story mode, with a rokkin’ soundtrack by the Six Shootas.*
If you need a break from blowing up stuff in the Hive City of Luteus Prime in single-player mode, you can get your mates to join the Waaagh! with a co-op mode for up to four players, local or online.
Prove you’re da biggest and best Ork among your mates, with a massive scrap in fully customisable multiplayer games of Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill, and Juggernaut – ded gud for blowin’ off steam.
And to find out how the story gets started, check out the prequel comic on this very website next week – it’s full of red-blooded Ork action, plenty of dakka, and – that’s right – explosions.
You can get Shootas, Blood & Teef on Steam, GOG, and Switch right now – with Xbox available on the 25th of October and Playstation on the 2nd of December – the Waaagh! is waiting for you, and that hair squig won’t return on its own.
