After Glitchlings in the system delayed its arrival last week, everyone's favourite Genestealer-busting Tech-priest is back in the latest instalment of Angels of Death: Origins.
Spanning 168 minutes of hardcore Space Marine action, Angels of Death is an epic animated adventure – which you can watch as a feature-length supercut on Warhammer+ right now. It’s a show with complex characters and a rich history.
Angels of Death: Origins is a limited anthology series that explores the stories behind these characters from new perspectives. We’ve already witnessed Shipmistress Livia Solken’s ascent to the command throne of the Sword of Baal in Kill Command (catch it for free right now on YouTube).
Now the action returns to the surface of Niades in Patience of Iron.
Patience of Iron shines a spotlight on Castia-Theta-9, the Tech-priest who “rescues” Captain Orpheo in the main show. This episode is set (mostly) before the events of Angels of Death and gives you an idea of how she and a rag-tag band of survivors hold out against the Genestealer Cult that are overrunning the planet.
Look out for the stoic Sergeant Vescaro and a motley assortment of Imperial citizens sheltering in Castia-Theta-9’s hideaway – they give a neat little insight into mortal life in the Imperium.
