Show the Space Hulk Who’s Boss by Blowing Up Walls and Barricading Doors in Kill Team: Soulshackle

The latest Kill Team expansion returns to the vast and malevolent space hulk, the Gallowdark, where a crack team of Adeptus Arbites race to reclaim a deadly escapee before elite Drukhari agents catch them for their own dark purposes. They’ll be fighting amid the most dynamic and unpredictable scenery yet, where walls become doors and doors become walls.

That’s right, Kill Team: Soulshackle is almost here. You can pre-order your copy this Saturday alongside the highly anticipated standalone releases for the Kasrkin, Hierotek Circle, Kroot Farstalker Kinband, and Imperial Navy Breachers

Blowing up random walls inside a space hulk is a good way to find yourself sucked into space, but desperate times call for desperate measures. The Plant Charge and Detonate Charge actions will open up weak partitions – denoted on the killzone maps from the new Soulshackle Mission Pack. The best part? The walls themselves feature detachable panels to complete the effect.

Setting off explosives on interior walls is a dangerous business, and anyone on the other side of the wall is likely to get more than singed eyebrows when the charge blows.

That’s not the only way to open up new opportunities, though – shoot a breach wall from a distance with an AP2 weapon like a meltagun, fusion grenade, or wraithcannon, and you can cut out a DIY doorway without needing to get close.

The yawning voids that result are a great way to get behind your opponent or escape from a sticky situation. Or if you’d rather do the opposite, Hatchway Jammers ensure doors may only be opened from your own side, forcing the enemy to find a way around – or blow down a wall themselves.

Soulshackle also comes with enough extras to make your killzone look like the command bridge of a battleship. There are augur displays, control lecterns, and relay station, as well as a large hololith dais displaying its own holographic killzone – enough to play an even smaller game of Kill Team on.

New missions turn these consoles into objectives, with operatives fighting for control of the ship’s vital systems. Pre-order Kill Team: Soulshackle this Saturday to take part in the wildest, most unpredictable game of Kill Team yet.
