As you’ll no doubt have been able to tell from the constant stream of increasingly elaborate cards, bouquets, and European chocolates arriving at your door this morning, today is Valentine’s Day.
Yet while we might all have any number of small nylon teddy bears clutching stitched-on love-hearts in our lives, the worlds of Warhammer can sometimes be lacking romance. Plenty of relationships are forged in the fires of battle, but these are generally of the platonic sort favoured by philosophers, war poets, and elderly, unmarried lecturers in divinity.
Most Warhammer heroes are just so busy battling or scheming or praising the Emperor that they can’t seem to find the time to get out there and meet that special someone. In desperation, they have turned to the apps – and if they thought the Long War was bad, they ain’t seen nothing yet…
Take Abaddon for example, with 13 galactic Black Crusades to his name, he surely now knows where all the galaxy’s best little coffee shops are… And after 10,000 years of working on himself, surely he’s forgiven his dad? What a catch!
Over in the Era of the Beast, Ghur’s savage energy is getting everyone a little hot under the collar. Nagash is far too busy sulking to even consider casting the net, but Teclis is feeling good after banishing the supreme lord of the undead…
