It’s March, which means it’s time for the next stage of this year’s Armies on Parade extravaganza. The New Year, New Army portion is officially over, and we’re turning our attention to the heroes, generals, and admirals.
March and April’s theme is Supreme Command – this covers all the varied command options for your armies, be they towering tyrants or canny Command Squads.
This is an opportunity to grab that imposing Knight Abominant or trusty Leman Russ Tank Commander and shower them in extra love and attention – why shouldn’t your leader also be a centrepiece engine of destruction?
Perhaps you can add a little panache to your display, with a micro diorama of Genestealer Cultist weirdos planning their next move, or a group of Praetors and Consuls surveying the battlefields of the Horus Heresy.
Once you’ve made your choice, you’ve got two months to finish your project – share your progress on Twitter with #ArmiesOnParade2023, and you may even be featured right here on Warhammer Community!
There are in-store bonuses for completed themes this year. After you’ve finished the first two steps in April, you can collect a bronze Armies on Parade pin from your local Warhammer store. Follow that up with the next two to earn a silver pin, and complete your whole entry for gold. Ask your friendly local Warhammer staff for more details.
When it all comes together, you’ll hopefully have something just as incredible as the winners from Armies on Parade 2022.
Good luck with your Supreme Commanders. If you finish early, use the time to get planning – or make a head start on May and June’s Gods of War. Share your progress on social media with #armiesonparade2023.
