The machinations of Vashtorr the Arkifane enter a deadlier phase today as he emerges from the soul forges to take the field in person – and the Dark Angels are the first to feel the heat of his wrath.
Arks of Omen: Vashtorr
A mysterious Key-fragment lies somewhere deep within the Rock – the colossal mobile fortress-monastery of the Dark Angels – and Vashtorr covets it for his schemes. Now the time for direct action has come, and we watch in Arks of Omen: Vashtorr as a cataclysmic wave of his indentured daemon horde is let loose upon Grand Master Azrael and his valiant defenders.
This is the third book in the Arks of Omen series, which continues the Warhammer 40,000 narrative as Vashtorr and his Arks of Omen wreak havoc on the galaxy. As well as extensive lore and a gallery of awesome miniatures, this book contains further Boarding Actions rules for the Chaos Daemons, Necrons, Tyranids, Genestealer Cults, Death Guard, and Adeptus Mechanicus, plus an interconnected narrative campaign called The Rock Besieged.*
Arks of Omen: Vashtorr (Collector’s Edition)
For those favoured by the Master of the Soul Forges, the Collector’s Edition is a luxury tome with a variant soft-touch cover featuring Vashtorr’s enchanting visage, with silver foil lettering and a black ribbon page marker. It’s a book worthy of the Arkifane himself, and available only while stocks last – so get yours before it’s gone.
Wrath of the Soul Forge King
The best of the Dark Angels clash with Vashtorr’s horde in Wrath of the Soul Forge King, a new battlebox starring the demigod himself and Grand Master Azrael. Fighting for Team Chaos are a pair of powerful Obliterators and a clanking Venomcrawler, backed up by 10 devoted Cultists, while the Dark Angels marshal five mighty Deathwing Terminators alongside a solid core of 10 Intercessors. This set also comes with two Dark Angels upgrade sprues, a Dark Angels transfer sheet, and a special Wrath of the Soul Forge King booklet containing background information and datasheets for all included models. This is currently the only place you can get hold of Vashtorr or Azrael – for the time being at least.
Vashtorr himself is a monstrous amalgam of flesh and iron, rippling with daemonic energy, and is an exciting prospect for painters. To help you get to grips with him, the Warhammer Painting team have concocted a quick tutorial.
First basecoat the model with Iron Warriors, then neatly paint over all of the fleshy parts with Grey Seer. Pick out his hooves and horns with Corvus Black, gold details with Balthasar Gold, and rocky base with Mechanicus Standard Grey, before giving all of his skin a wash with Druchii Violet. Coat the silver metals with Nuln Oil and the gold and brass with Agrax Earthshade, then highlight both with Ironbreaker before picking out his final red details with Khorne Red.
Arks of Omen: Vashtorr Dice Set
Vashtorr leaves little to chance, but even he is beholden to the whims of the dice gods. The only truly certain way to exert his meticulous influence on the iron laws of probability is to throw dice with his infernal sigil carved into the surface. Ok, we definitely can’t guarantee these will improve your rolls, but this set of 15 dice look amazing in swirly two-tone brass with black pips and Vashtorr’s personal icon on the six face.

Boarding Patrol: Chaos Daemons
Daemons can be found on many derelict ships spat from the warp, and Khorne’s blood-hungry beasts stalk the halls in Boarding Patrol: Chaos Daemons. A hard-hitting force of 10 Bloodletters is joined by a pack of 10 Flesh Hounds, with Karanak, the Hound of Vengeance leading their charge.

Exodus, the One Who is Many
The Alpha Legion never make it easy for anyone, do they? The One Who is Many is either an assassin par excellence or a lot of assassins par excellence who are pretending to be a single assassin par excellence. Either way, he’s on his way to execute key characters at your command. The One Who is Many is sculpted in resin.
Traitor Esoterist Consul
Take it from us, these guys are bad news. With a crummy attitude, poor manners, and a bottomless knowledge of forbidden psychic magicks with which he rends the very fibres of reality, you absolutely mustn’t fraternise with the Traitor Esoterist Consul. Unless, that is, you are of a Traitorous bent, in which case welcome to the club! What’s a mortal soul really worth these days anyway? This resin miniature comes with a choice of heads and a palpable sense of evil.
Alpha Legion MkVI Heads
Kit out your plastic MKVI Tactical Squads with the striated heads of the Alpha Legion. And even though ‘making your officers stand out on the battlefield’ rather goes against the credo of the most mysterious Legion, it does undeniably look cool. This set contains 11 resin heads: three sets of three designs, one more embellished head for your chief decoy, and a bare head that must be like staring into the visage of Alpharius (or Omegon) himself.
Alpha Legion MKVI Shoulder Pads
Tie the whole ‘many-heads-one-body’ look together with this set of 10 embossed resin shoulder pads for your MKVI Tactical Marines, each showing the profane Hydra iconography of the Alpha Legion.
Raven Guard MKVI Heads
The pioneers of MKVI ‘Corvus’ armour get their beakie helmets at long last – and it’s been worth the wait! Strike from the shadows in style with this set of 11 resin heads, including three sets of three designs, a bare head, and a single option with a truly mesmerising feathered crest.
Raven Guard MKVI Shoulder Pads
Put a bird on it with these 10 resin Raven Guard shoulder pads for marines wearing MKVI armour. Use them to pick out your favourite champions or to mark a whole squad out as veterans.
Legiones Astartes Character Heads Upgrade Set 1
For maximal customisation for your Sergeants, Praetors, and Warlords – or even those reserve company guys – why not choose this pack of 15 individual bare resin heads? They come with a range of personal accessories, beards, and augmentics, while some even have a little hair left on top! Snarls and muscular jawlines come as standard.
Legiones Astartes Character Heads Upgrade Set 2
Send the customisation into overdrive with this second set of 15 unique resin Space Marine heads. What some of these guys lack in beards and gleaming bald domes they make up for in wild battle-hair and a strong selection of moustache contenders. One or two of them are even attempting a smile. Bless.
Faramir™, Madril, and Damrod, Rangers of Ithilien™
The three heroes of the Battle of Osgiliath boxed set arrive as a standalone group – the Rangers of Ithilien – for the first time. Faramir excels as a commander with plenty of Heroic Actions at his disposal, while Madril and Damrod are cost-effective heroes for Good armies.
Gothmog™, Lieutenant of Sauron™
Gothmog is one of the greatest Evil tacticians of his age, and a powerful force commander for the Orcs of Mordor. His force of will bestows his hatred of Men on any nearby Orcs, and this pack lets him take to the field either on foot or riding a vicious Warg.
