The Arks of Omen series continues with a crimson-clad close combat machine who gets an awesome new miniature and tears his way through an army of his hated nemeses. No, not that one.
Arks of Omen: Farsight
Vashtorr the Arkifane’s quest for the Key-fragments is nearing its end, and the action turns to the dead world of Arthas Moloch in the fourth chapter in the epic narrative series, Arks of Omen: Farsight. Commander Farsight is just preparing to wrap up the vicious War of Dakka once and for all, when calamity strikes and his entire operation is jeopardised by the arrival of the Unhallowed space hulk and its Balefleet entourage.
As well as advancing the narrative of Warhammer 40,000, this book includes significant expansions for the Boarding Actions game mode. Not only do Dark Depths missions allow you to mix up your battlefields, the book also introduces multiplayer games for three or four players – be they two-on-two team matches or exciting free-for-alls.
In addition, there are expanded Boarding Actions rules for T’au Empire, Asuryani and Ynnari, Drukhari, Harlequins, and Adepta Sororitas Boarding Patrols, which add further Stratagems and Enhancements for your crew. As with the rest of the series, a glamorous Special Edition of Arks of Omen: Farsight is also coming, with a silver foil-embossed cover, printed page edges, and a black ribbon page marker.
Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire
Commander Farsight doesn’t just have a book dedicated to him – he’s also got an awesome new model, which is first available in Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire. This powerful assault force contains three Crisis battlesuits and 10 Fire Warriors, accompanied by a small shoal of Drones. It’s a firepower-first nightmare for enemy patrols, and even includes some close combat punch thanks to Farsight himself.*
Arks of Omen: Farsight Enclaves Dice Set
With a new book and new model on the way, complete the Farsight trifecta with a pack of 15 crimson dice perfectly suited for your battlesuit battalions. These are cast in a deep red plastic with black pips, and sport the Farsight Enclaves symbol on the 6 face.
Planning to pick up all of the new T’au Empire releases? You can pick up Arks of Omen: Farsight, Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire, and the Farsight Enclaves Dice Set in a bundle together with an exclusive art print of Farsight himself signed by the artist, while stocks last.**
Boarding Patrol: Orks
Sneak into the Arks of Omen and cause some big green havoc with Boss Snikrot and his boyz. Boarding Patrol: Orks is a musclebound collection of tough-as-nails fighters led by the legendary Kommando Boss sporting a brand new model. In addition to Snikrot, you’ll board with five Flash Gitz, 10 Beast Snagga Boyz, and 10 Kommandos – who also drag along a reluctant Kommando Grot and far-too-enthusiastic Bomb Squig for the ride.*
Boarding Patrol: Aeldari
Few things are as terrifying in a confined space as a Phoenix Lord. Jain Zar leads Boarding Patrol: Aeldari accompanied by five Howling Banshees, as well as 20 Corsair Voidscarred who can be assembled as any one of two different units.
Boarding Patrol: Drukhari
The Drukhari already love to raid voidcraft for business and pleasure, and the Arks of Omen have only spilled blood in the water. A Succubus leads 20 Wyches in Boarding Patrol: Drukhari, accompanied by a band of five sinister Incubi.
Boarding Patrol: Grey Knights
Boarding Patrol: Grey Knights is one of the hardest-hitting patrols around, packed with psychic power and durable armour. Castellan Crowe joins five Brotherhood Terminators and 10 Strike Squad Grey Knights in an elite fighting force that might be few in number but hits like a truck.*
Boarding Patrol: Necrons
Not all Boarding Patrols need to be led by a great hero. Thanks to their efficient programming, Necrons can usually be trusted to carry out the orders of their Overlords to the letter, and so this phalanx of 10 Lychguard,*** 10 Necron Warriors, three Canoptek Scarab Swarms, and three Ophydian Destroyers makes Boarding Patrol: Necrons a mighty mix of machines.
Armageddon Steel Legion – Made to Order
Commissar Yarrick may have gone to join the Emperor’s side, but the loyal Guardsmen of Armageddon are still alive and kicking. For a limited time, you can get your hands on a huge array of classic Steel Legion units on a Made to Order basis, from sword-swinging officers to ranks of disciplined Guardsmen.
If you feel like packing out your platoon with an effective firing line of iconic Imperial firepower, the Steel Legion Platoon is especially apt for the task. A gas-masked Officer leads three lascannon-toting Heavy Weapons Teams and 20 Steel Legion Guardsmen – you’ll want plenty of them to kick Ghazghkull off-world the next time he shows his ugly mug.
Lady Haera, 13th Daughter of Lord Helmawr
In the enforced absence of Lord Helmawr, his heirs have started to disappear at an alarming rate. These mysterious deaths stopped at Lady Haera, his 13th trueborn daughter, which we’re sure is a complete coincidence with which she had nothing to do.
Far from being a preening noble hiding up in the Spire, Lady Haera loves nothing more than getting her hands dirty with a masterwork power spear and a phase sword. She’s a terror to face – so make sure she’s on your side when she arrives on Saturday.
Shadowsun: The Patient Hunter
Commander Shadowsun has bested near every foe that dared to stand against her, but the Death Guard present an altogether new challenge in Phil Kelly’s Shadowsun: The Patient Hunter. With ancient warriors and corpulent daemons confounding her understanding of reality, O’Shaserra will need to test her understanding of Kauyon and stretch her abilities to the limit to prevent an all-out schism between her forces and her allies.
Gaunt’s Ghosts: The Victory Part Two (French Edition)
The forge world Urdesh is under attack, and Colonel-Commissar Gaunt is at the forefront of its defence with his trusty Ghosts. This French-language compilation of two novels – Warmaster and Anarch by Dan Abnett – continues the story of the Sabbat Worlds Crusade in French-language audiobook format, with twists and turns aplenty as the Tanith First and Only try to head off a disaster that could spell the end of the Imperial war effort.
This week, Warhammer+ gets deep into the Wrath of the Soul Forge King boxed set with a new Boarding Actions Battle Report featuring Grand Master Azrael, while Loremasters delves deeper still into the backstory of these characters.
Here at Warhammer Community we’ll be covering a crop of truly magnificent reveals from AdeptiCon, starting with the latest Warhammer Preview Online. The festivities start in the early morning for UK and European fans – here’s when you have to wake up (it’ll be worth it). We’ll also be streaming the best bits from the tournament.
This is a show you won’t want to miss – and with reveals this exciting, you’ll have no trouble staying up. In fact, we need some time to recover ourselves, so unfortunately there’ll be no Hang Out and Paint this week. The show will return next week!
* This product has been delayed in Japan.
** This product is not available in Japan, Germany, and Australia.
** The box may show five of these assembled as Triarch Praetorians, but as you clearly know, they can’t be taken in Boarding Patrols. It was a test, you see, and we’re glad you passed.
