The smashing new edition of Warhammer 40,000 is getting closer by the day, and attendees at Warhammer Fest 2023 will be the first in the world to get to play it.
Fans in North America are not being left out, however. Attendees at the Kansas City Open just a month later – from the 2nd to the 4th of June – will be able to try this fantastic new game system out for themselves.
Full demo games will run all weekend – anyone can walk up and participate. Our event staff will also present nightly exhibition games you can spectate and ask questions during, featuring the full rules of the new edition in Strike Force* clashes over brand-new missions in both casual and competitive formats.

In response to popular demand, singles tournaments have been added for Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and the last few spots for the team tournaments are going fast.
If you’ve not tried a Warhammer 40,000 or Warhammer Age of Sigmar team tournament before, now’s your chance to team up with your friends and roll dice together at one of the biggest team tournaments in the United States. These are great fun in themselves – and every player on the teams that win the Best Overall and Best General categories will be invited to the World Championships of Warhammer in November.
On top of that, there’s plenty more you can get involved in, from the Kill Team Grand Tournament, the Maelstrom in the Midwest Blood Bowl Tournament, and plenty more. There will also be a wide range of hobby classes, including an in-depth Hobby Masterclass which focuses on painting skin tones, cloth, and metals on the incredible new Daemon Prince – which you can then take home with you.
