This week’s pre-orders may be little, but they sure are fierce. Let’s get the ball rolling as the latest stage in the Old Ones’ plans for the Mortal Realms come to fruition.
Seraphon Army Set
The stars have aligned, the orreries have rotated into place, and the sacred spawning pools have been frothing like an overpowered jacuzzi. That’s right – the Seraphon are getting new models and a new battletome.
This army set is the first place to get your hands on a decent chunk of the forthcoming new range. It contains a stately Slann Starmaster perched atop his arcane floating throne, plus 10 mighty new Saurus Warriors and 10 Skinks riding Raptadons – a cold-blooded battalion to strike terror in the enemies of Order.
You also get an exclusive edition of the new Battletome: Seraphon with special cover art, a deck of 35 warscroll cards to help keep track of your scaly assailants mid-game, two token sheets, and 52 Seraphon enhancement cards that are also exclusive to this set. In short, it’s the complete package you’ll need to immediately take the battle to your foes. Please note that the warscroll cards won’t be sold separately later – this boxed set will be the only place to get them.
The battletome contains all the rules and lore you need to run a Seraphon army in the current edition of Warhammer Age of Sigmar, including a bestiary, spell lores, pitched battle profiles, enhancements, subfactions, and narrative Path to Glory rules following a sacred spawning.
The Starmaster comes with a number of options for different arms, faces and trinkets. There are also plenty of choices to make around building his floating palanquin and which skinks will attend to his needs.
The Saurus can be constructed as wielding either Celestite Clubs or Celestite Spears, and may be joined by an Alpha champion, an Icon Bearer, and a War-drummer musician. The Raptadons can be built as Hunters or Chargers – ranged and spear-armed cavalry who work in tandem to harry the enemy. The whole set is available to pre-order here.
Adeptus Titanicus: Campaign Compendium
Bring out the really big guns with this indispensable compendium of narrative and rules content for Adeptus Titanicus. Inside you will find some of the Horus Heresy’s greatest battles at Beta-Garmon, Ryza, Molech, the Belt of Iron, and the Realm of Ultramar. There are 27 narrative missions allowing you to re-fight the major battles of these conflicts, from the betrayal of Legio Praesagius at Ithraca to the subjugation of Urdesh and the extermination of Legio Damicium.
There are expansive rules for commanding Knight Households and fielding entire armies of Knights, including options to march beneath the resplendent heraldic banners of the Household. Rules are also included to allow players to field a Household drawn from six of the loyal Knight Households of Molech.
Additionally, you get rules for playing entire campaigns in which players battle for a world or an entire sub-sector while their Princeps gain new skills and reap the rewards of conquest. On top of that, there are rules for creating your own Titan Legions, allowing you to bring your own Legio to life with custom Traits, Stratagems, and Wargear – and terrain rules for hostile battlefields.
