Many dark and mysterious beings – and former beings – lurk in the depths below the Mortal Realms, but if you are brave enough to test your intestinal fortitude against them, there are now new ways to begin your Warhammer Underworlds journey.
Meanwhile, on the subject of mystery and intrigue, a range of the Plague God’s foul followers have hidden in unassuming boxes and are waiting for you to find them…
Warhammer Underworlds Starter Set
This boxed set is the ideal way to get into the ultimate competitive miniatures game. It comes with two complete warbands, full card decks, rules, and all the dice and accessories you need to start playing immediately. Inside you will find a band of Stormcast Eternals known as the Farstriders and their undead opponents – the Deathrattle Skeletons of the Sepulchral Guard.*
Warhammer Underworlds: Wyrdhollow – The Headsmen’s Curse
This ethereal Nighthaunt warband is led by an entity known as the Wielder of the Blade, a ghostly warrior who uses a flat-headed executioner's sword to decapitate foes in one strike. Alongside him are the Scriptor of the Sentence, a Chainrasp tasked with inspecting their script and condemning victims to death by execution, the Bearer of the Block, and the Sharpener of the Blade – who brings along a whetstone to add a keen edge tp the dullest of blades. Plus, the included Rivals deck allows you to drop this ghastly gaggle into your games of Warhammer Underworlds: Wyrdhollow immediately.*
Warhammer Underworlds: Wyrdhollow – Voidcursed Thralls Rivals Deck
This 32-card, Aggro-style Rivals deck requires you to grant fighters the Voidcursed keyword allowing them to be enhanced with Gambits and score Glory. The cards in the deck feature a variety of fighters from previous warbands who are now Voidcursed.
The Voidcursed Thralls deck works well with aggressive warbands who have numerous fighters to spread the curse among, including the likes of Ephilim's Pandemonium, the Headsmen's Curse, Grinkrak's Looncourt, and Gryselle's Arenai.*
Space Marine Heroes 2023 – Death Guard
This putrid selection of warriors in the popular Space Marine Heroes range are members of the pestilent Death Guard. Available individually at selected stockists, the only way to guarantee yourself one of each model is to grab a pack of eight boxes – which will be available from the Games Workshop webstore.
One of these malodorous characters is the Malignant Plaguecaster, who has previously only been available in Japan. Each miniature comes with a detailed base and doesn’t require any glue to assemble. These are a fun collector’s piece for fans of the forces of Chaos and great additions to any Death Guard army.
Warhammer 40,000 Chibi Figures Series 2
Decorate your painting desk with the second series of Warhammer 40,000 Chibi figures from Bandai, this time expanding the range with adorable takes on an Inquisitor, a Commissar, a Tempestus Scion, a Blood Angels Space Marine, and a certain head-swinging Crimson Fist you may remember from the classic Rogue Trader rulebook – like Space Marine Heroes, each bag contains one random figure with five to collect in this series.
All of these miniatures are available to pre-order now on the Games Workshop webstore.
