The galaxy is crawling with xenos threats who are quite happy to take advantage of the Tyranid attack on the Imperium in order to press their own agendas. The T’au, the Aeldari, and the rest are all making their play, whether that be for conquest or sheer survival.
These Index datacards contain profiles for every xenos unit in the new edition of Warhammer 40,000, accompanied by fresh army and Detachment rules for each.
The T’au Empire maintain their famous firepower, while picking up a new ability to support their comrades in battle – picking out enemies For the Greater Good through a careful network of paired Spotters and Guided units.
Craftworld Aeldari have always manipulated fate through psychic precognition, and they take this ability right into games of Warhammer 40,000 with the new-look Strands of Fate.
In the dark depths of Commorragh, the Drukhari prepare their raids into realspace with even faster, deadlier troops who draw Power From Pain.
Tomb Worlds continue to awaken as the galaxy slides further into turmoil, and the Necrons are revitalised by Reanimation Protocols. They also benefit greatly from the new Leader rules, as oversight from Overlords upgrades their legions of shambling Necron Warriors.
As the Tyranids barrel into the far side of the galaxy, the Genestealer Cults draw their gaze with secretive underground operations. The Day of Ascension is at hand, and no Imperial oppressors will see the Cult Ambush coming from beneath their feet.
WAAAGH! Get yer boots on, ladz – there’s fightin’ to be done. Other factions might be messing around with fancy powers and shiny gubbins, but the Orks can krump ‘em all with sheer mass, noise, and unspeakable violence.
The newest xenos* faction in Warhammer 40,000 came out swinging, and the Leagues of Votann continue their obstinate ways in the new edition. Grudges and gunfire are just you need to satisfy the Eye of the Ancestors.
