Two towering Knights lead the charge into this weekend’s pre-orders, in which we also exhume a fang-tastic Blood Bowl team, and explore Balin’s Tomb.
Cerastus Knight Acheron
The Cerastus Knight Acheron is one of the most fearsome steeds of the Knight Households. Possessed by a bloodthirsty machine spirit, these grim engines tear foes to pieces with their reaper chainfists and immolate whatever remains with their flamestorm cannons. Now available in plastic, this miniature is extensively posable, including a flexible fuel hose, and it comes with a transfer sheet containing the heraldry of many of the most (in)famous Knight Houses of the Horus Heresy.
Cerastus Knight Castigator
Outfitted with a bolt cannon for clearing hordes of lesser foes, the Cerastus Knight Castigator is usually piloted by the most venerated of a household’s scions, who wield its tempest blade with terrifying precision. Just as posable as its counterpart, the Castigator also features a detailed ammo feed to aid with posing, and comes with a transfer sheet.
Made to Order Warhammer 40,000 Terrain
Expand your battlefield options with the help of a range of Warhammer 40,000 Made to Order terrain kits. This Made to Order includes the original Aegis Defence Line, the Imperial Bastion, the Skyshield Landing Pad, the Imperial Bunker, the Imperial Defence Emplacement, and the Imperial Defence Line.
Warhammer 40,000 Hero Bases and the Sector Imperialis Large Base Detail Kit are also returning as part of this Made to Order offer – they’ll all be available from today until 8am on Monday, the 2nd of October.
As Made to Order Kits they can take up to 180 days to be shipped.
The Drakfang Thirsters
Blood Bowl crowds better watch their necks – the Drakfang Thirsters have awoken, their Thralls have flopped out of coffins, and the whole team have set their sights on the gridiron. This team nets you 14 players – two Vampire Blitzers, two Vampire Runners, two Vampire Throwers, and eight Thralls for when your players are getting peckish. It also contains balls, coins, tokens, and a transfer sheet.
Vargheist
Vampire teams are known for their refined style and elegance, but there’s more than a dash of bloodthirsty brutality simmering just below the surface. The Vargheist exemplifies the latter characteristic, bringing bloody carnage to the pitch. This miniature is made of Forge World resin.
Count Luthor von Drakenborg
Nobles want to be him, and Thralls want to be bitten by him – the legendary Count Luthor Von Drakenborg is back and ready to blitz. Oozing style, skill, and supernatural sportsmanship, this Forge World resin Star Player grants his teams an extra reroll, and can play for all the Sylvanian Spotlight teams.
‘Captain’ Karina von Riesz
Hailing from Sartosa, ‘Captain’ Karina Von Riesz has sailed across the seas to taste glory on the gridiron. Her Tasty Morsel skill lets her feed on opposing players once per game rather than a Thrall, as this nautical ne'er-do-well treats the feeding code as more of a serving suggestion. She can play for Sylvanian Spotlight teams, and is provided in Forge World resin.
Ivan ‘the Animal’ Deathshroud
One final undead powerhouse has risen from his grave to take on the beautiful game of Blood Bowl. Ivan ‘the Animal’ Deathshroud is a mighty Wight warlord who has decided to dedicate the entirety of his undeath to terrorising the pitch. Cast in Forge World resin, this formidable blitzer with a hatred of Dwarves can play for Sylvanian Spotlight teams.
Spike! Journal Issue 16
The latest issue of the best and only Blood Bowl periodical, Spike! Journal Issue 16 contains all the latest rules, lore, tactics and info available for this stylish undead team. You’d be a few bats short of a belfry to pass it up.
Vampire Team Pitch and Dugouts Set
Vampires practise their bone-snapping tackles on the hard stone tiles of their castle ballrooms and halls, but very occasionally a fall will be cushioned by luxury crimson carpet. The double-sided Vampire Team Pitch and Dugouts Set represents the interior of an opulent castle, one side is pristine and the other a raging inferno, perhaps the result of a fan celebration going a little too far.
Vampire Team Card Pack
This 44-card Vampire Team Card Pack contains all the rules references you need to play with your Vampire Team, including three vampire player reference cards, three star player cards, eight Miscellaneous Mayhem Special Play cards, eight Heroic Feats Special Play cards, and 19 positional cards for your fanged wonders.
Vampire Counts Team Dice Set
Complete your Vampire Counts collection with the Vampire Counts Team Dice Set. It contains seven dice, each black as the night with carmine red swirls and bronze pips, The d6s feature the Vampire Counts team icon on the six face.
