The Stormbringer magazine series has given UK readers the chance to collect vast armies for Warhammer Age of Sigmar with miniatures, painting guides, and game tutorials in every issue. It’s been such a hit that it’s shortly crossing the pond to the United States.
Stormbringer launches in the US today (Wednesday the 25th of October), and it’s absolutely rammed with Warhammer goodness. You get miniatures in most issues, and there are also tools, paints, scenery, and other cool swag available. It’s only available in the US via subscription, which means you’ll have a weekly guide to the Mortal Realms delivered directly to your door.
And if you subscribe before the 15th of November 2023, you’ll receive a free Haggok, Gutrippa Boss miniature.
The first few issues pit the Stormcast Eternals against the kunnin’ Kruleboyz in introductory games that ease you into the basics of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. By the end of the run, you’ll also build up forces of Sylvaneth, Kharadron Overlords, Ironjawz, and Gloomspite Gitz, as well as a hefty paint collection and a heap of terrain for your burgeoning battlefield.
You don’t even need to be a brand new hobbyist to enjoy Stormbringer magazine, as it’s a great way for veteran generals to build up their collection and try their hand at armies they may not have considered before. There’s even a premium subscription for dedicated Warhammer connoisseurs that adds centrepiece miniatures such as Krondys, Son of Dracothion and Gordrakk, Fist of Gork.
