White Dwarf 495 – New Rules for Boarding Actions, Kill Team, and Warcry

The final issue of White Dwarf for 2023 is nearly here. Let’s take a look at what’s on offer.

The blast doors of the world’s biggest Warhammer club open once more, and bring the second round of the Slidecrown Sundering campaign to a close with three new narrative battleplans, as well as challenging you to paint your Gods and Monsters, analysing the Charge phase in Age of Sigmar, and introducing jungle warfare rules for Kill Team. All that is on top of a hobby hangout and two new battleplans for Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar.

There are also quests for Cities of Sigmar in Warcry – which tie into their revamped Warcry rules which you can download here

You can then read about sorcery in the Mortal Realms and humanity’s technological scepticism in the far future of the 41st Millennium, and wash it all down with a Black Library tale about a fantastic Carnevale coming to the Aqshian city of Eldfell by Alexander Dan Vilhjalmsson.

Pre-order your copy on Saturday, or treat someone to a 12-month subscription for Christmas to get full cover art issues, and to ensure they never miss out on an issue in 2024
