It’s not all grim out in the ash wastes of Necromunda. Sure, the Cargo-8 caravans that cross the lifeless plains of this blighted planet are beset on every side by lethal dangers – hails of bullets, packs of rampaging mutants, and the sheer toxicity of the air itself – but there are upsides. Sometimes at least you’re hauling a big old vat of booze.
This month’s edition of Apocrypha Necromunda is entitled Blood, Ash, and Gunshine, and it’s all about heisting a sloshing vat of prized booze from the clutches of the Malstrain Genestealers of Hive Secundus. Here’s Necromunda Lead Owen with more info…
In this instalment of the Apocrypha Necromunda, we follow the legendary Orlock brewmaster Wilcox ‘Wild Snake’ Cinderjack in his quest to find a rare vintage of Merdena family special brew thought lost to time. Aiding the crazed House of Iron hero is Keli Killswitch and her gang of road warriors, charged with getting Wilcox back alive.
Their journey will take them to the old Gunshine Distillery in the Hive Secundus exclusion zone, where Wilcox and his companions must face the malign power of the Malstrain Patriarch and its vile minions as they first get the booze, then make a mad dash for the safety of the Dust Wall with a xeno-mutant horde close on their heels.
In addition to a brand new scenario, ‘Wild Snake Run’, in this month’s article you will find rules for Orlock crew Legendary Names, allowing you to recruit the best of the best to drive your vehicles. In addition, there is also a new cargo load for the Cargo-8 Ridgehauler, the Wild Snake Vat, so even out on the road an Orlock gang is never far from a bottle of the good stuff!
Thanks Owen! As you’ll see from the Wild Snake rules, it’s never a good idea to drink and drive, not even in the lawless badlands of Necromunda nor even while you’re being pursued by the twisted remnants of an atavistic Genestealer Cult…
