The battlefields of Warhammer: The Old World have been raging ever since the massive army boxes flew off the shelves, and now it’s time for reinforcements to join the fight. Loads of Tomb Kings and Bretonnians are up for grabs, while in the Age of Darkness, the Solar Auxilia take their first steps into a plastic future with a model-stuffed boxed set.
Everything listed here – unless specifically mentioned – will be on a two-week pre-order period.
Solar Auxilia Battle Group
The Solar Auxilia are the elite unaugmented soldiers of the Imperium, operating in vast cohorts that are able to bring entire planets under Imperial control through force alone. During the Great Crusade, they often supported the Space Marine Legions and found themselves on both sides in the galaxy-spanning civil war begun by the Warmaster Horus. The Solar Auxilia Battle Group brings this army to the table in plastic for the first time.
The box includes a five-man Tactical Command Section consisting of an Auxilia Captain and four Auxilia Companions with a variety of upgrade choices, leading a complement of 20 lasrifle-toting Auxiliaries. The box also contains armoured support in the form of a Leman Russ Strike Tank, an Aethon Pattern Heavy Sentinel, and a Dracosan Armoured Transport. Two Solar Auxilia Infantry transfer sheets and two Solar Auxilia Vehicle transfer sheets featuring over 150 transfers each are also provided.*
Rules for all these units can be found in the Liber Imperium army book, or downloaded online for the Aethon Heavy Sentinel.
Solar Auxilia Dice
Complement your army with this set of 20 Solar Auxilia Dice, which includes 19 regular dice with the Solar Auxilia logo on the six face, and one scatter die, all cast in a pearlescent grey and black swirl pattern.
Stormseer Consul
The White Scars owe much to the traditions of Chogoris, including the teachings of shamans who read the shape of weather and destiny – and control both. Stormseer Consuls combine these ancient rituals with their own psychic mastery to obfuscate the approach of high-speed assaults and scour enemies with raging storms. This expert kit is made from Forge World resin and comes with two head options.
Dark Emissary Consul
To ensure that no Legions would waver, Horus instated Dark Emissaries to act as his watchful eyes and, if needed, passionless executioners. Wielding a Staff of Dark Authority, these specialised Consuls set an example for their subordinates to follow and ensure compliance through fear. This is an expert kit made from Forge World resin.
Apothecarion Detachment
When a Space Marine suffers an injury grievous enough that they require aid, it is the Apothecarion Detachment that tends to them. With deft medical skill, they can have a wounded fighter back on their feet in next to no time. If the patient is beyond saving, their duty includes recovering the Astartes’ precious genetic material. This expert kit made of Forge World resin contains two miniatures.
Tomb King on Necrolith Bone Dragon
Tomb Kings and Liche Priests of great power will often ride into battle on colossal Necrolith Bone Dragons, reanimated creatures that are as powerful in undeath as they were in life. These generals can issue commands from their howdahs as their skeletal steed barrels through the enemy’s lines.
This huge, detailed plastic kit can be built with a choice of either a Tomb King or Liche Priest as a rider – if you opt for the Liche Priest, you’ll also be able to build a Tomb King on foot.
Nekaph, Emissary of Settra
Nekaph, Emissary of Settra, is one of the Nehekaran tyrant’s most loyal servants, and on the eve of every battle, he announces his lord’s arrival by reading his near-inexhaustible list of titles. When battle is met, he smashes foes aside with the aptly named Flail of Conquered Kings. This expert kit is made from Forge World resin.
Tomb Kings of Khemri – Returning Plastics
Reanimate a horde of unthinking skeletal soldiers with a selection of returning plastic kits. The Skeleton Warriors box contains 36 miniatures which can either be built as Skeleton Warriors or Skeleton Archers, and includes command options for standard bearers, champions, and musicians.
Add a burst of speed to your undying legions with the Skeleton Horsemen box, which contains 16 miniatures which can be built as Skeleton Horsemen or Skeleton Horse Archers, plus all the relevant command options.
Finally, the Skeleton Chariots box is perfect for crushing the enemies of Nehekhara into dust. It contains three chariots with a variety of weapons, as well as options including a champion, a standard bearer, and a musician.
Tomb Kings of Khemri – Returning Metals
Classic metal miniatures are also returning for the Tomb Kings. The cursed, desert-wandering revenant Prince Apophas arrives alongside a whip-wielding Necrotect, as well as the classic Tomb King on Chariot, which is a metal miniature seated in a plastic chariot pulled by plastic skeletal horses.
Tomb Kings of Khemri – Resin Remasters
A selection of kits are also returning in Forge World resin. The Tomb Scorpion and Screaming Skull Catapult have both been remastered so that construction is easier, and even crisper details have been added to the catapult. The Carrion also return,** now as a set of three – two original poses and one new pose which has been designed to fit perfectly alongside the originals.
Knights of the Realm on Foot
In the hierarchy of Bretonnia, Knights of the Realm are minor nobles who battle under the banner of their Duke or Baron. While many ride into battle upon mighty steeds, the Knights of the Realm on Foot prefer to vanquish evil on an equal footing. This box builds 20 Knights of the Realm on Foot, armed with two-handed great weapons or swords and shields. The kit also includes enough parts to create two command groups if you’d prefer to build two blocks of 10 Knights.
Lord with Great Weapon
The unreleased Lord with Great Weapon and his accompanying helm bearer arrive in the Old World at long last! This metal miniature was originally planned for release 13 years ago, and is a fantastic slice of Warhammer history both for collectors and those who want some extra variety in their nobility.
Knights of the Realm/Knights Errant
The Knights of the Realm raise their pennants and ride out to smite the enemies of Bretonnia, smashing aside infantry with devastating charges. This returning plastic kit builds 12 Knights of the Realm or Knights Errant, with enough options to create two command squads if you build two units of six.
Field Trebuchet
Knights are virtuous fighters, but they still need a little help to besiege a castle or bombard a giant foe. That’s where the Field Trebuchet comes in. This massive mechanical sling can hurl rocks, hunks of masonry, and even dead cows extraordinary distances, devastating fortifications and large regiments alike. This kit is made of Forge World resin and has been remastered for easier construction.
Kingdom of Bretonnia – Returning Metals
The Kingdom of Bretonnia also welcomes some returning metal miniatures. Questing Knights are mighty warriors driven by visions to abandon their worldly possessions and prove their worthiness. You can also pick up a Questing Knights Command to lead them into battle. Knights of all stripes are supported in battle by their Squires, who act as skirmishers and harass their foes – a Squire Command is also on hand to lead these brave warriors in their duties.
Mighty Prophetesses of the Lady support the armies of Bretonnia in battle with powerful sorcery, and this dual pack contains both a Prophetess or Damsel on foot and one on a plastic horse. Also returning to metal is the Green Knight, the legendary paragon of virtue and righteousness who rides out to protect Bretonnia from the vilest of threats.
