The Mortal Realms Are Incredible, but Don’t Take It From Us – Callis and Toll Are Here To Tell You More

The cosmology of Warhammer Age of Sigmar is vast and fantastical, and life there is fraught with mystery, adventure, and danger. We’ve already laid out the basic formation of Mortal Realms and their expansive history, but still, there’s nothing like hearing about this stuff from the experts, right?

Callis and Toll know a thing or two about the Mortal Realms – they live there, after all – and they’re the stars of a new video in which they expound on exactly how the Mortal Realms work and the practicalities of travelling between realmspheres.

If you’re still hungry to know more about the Mortal Realms, we’ve picked four of our favourite Warhammer Age of Sigmar Black Library novels. Each provides a more in-depth look at life in the Realms, through the eyes of the four Grand Alliances, and they’re a great first step into the wonderful world of Age of Sigmar.

There’s also the new War for the Mortal Realms omnibus, which contains The Gates of Azyr by Chris Wraight, Soul Wars by Josh Reynolds, and Dominion by Darius Hinks, covering the Realmgate Wars, Soul Wars, and Era of the Beast respectively.
