Spearhead in Skaventide – A Complete Second Game Mode in a Box

Spearhead is a cool new game mode for Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Exquisitely balanced at a smaller scale, it’s been designed to be accessible for new players, with rich tactical depth to appeal to top-tier competitors.

From streamlined warscrolls with tweaked abilities to powerful battle tactics and twists that present both players with a fresh conundrum every turn, Spearhead is a compact game of knife-edge finishes.

It’s simple to pick up and play, every faction has all been extensively played and balanced, while the four-round structure and card-play will wrap any game up in under an hour.

Skaventide gives you the opportunity to hit the ground running (or scuttling) with two complete forces and literally all the equipment you need to play any of the other 23 factions.

The box comes with Fire and Jade, the first Spearhead battlepack, a hardback book that takes the battle to Ghyran and Aqshy.

You also get a double-sided game board – one side for each realm – a full complement of terrain designed to look like a rat-infested Sigmarite settlement, and two card decks of twists, tactics, and objectives that keep things fresh. There are even  3” and 6” range rulers which snap together to get to 9”.

You’ve already seen the miniatures in the two new Spearheads – the Vigilant Brotherhood for the Stormcast Eternals and the Gnawfeast Clawpack for the Skaven. Rules for all of these Spearhead boxes are found in Spearhead: Fire and Jade, and will be available to download for free after launch on Warhammer Community.
