The Stormcast Eternals Hold the Line in This Towering New Warhammer World Diorama

The Gnaw towers over the Great Parch, a teetering assemblage of scorched brass, rotting wood, and warpstone. Skaven pour out of this rent in reality by the thousands, eager to conquer the strongholds of Sigmar.

Yet the fight is not lost – the Stormcast Eternals have the tenacity and fortitude to venture into such a deleterious domain, a thin golden line standing against the innumerable hordes.

The exceptionally talented Warhammer World Exhibition Team have been hard at work bringing this to life, building a huge new display depicting just a sliver of the battle. It’s such an impressive project that we’ve shot a timelapse video of its creation, in which the architects discuss their towering creation.

The new exhibit is entitled Spires of the Gnaw. Here’s the official description: “In the fiery realm of Aqshy, the Skaven have struck. Their nefarious schemes have corrupted a continental expanse into the evil-choked Gnaw. Here, atop rickety spires, stand the Warpshatter Bells – their screams driving the ratmen into a murderous frenzy.

“Few can survive in the Gnaw. Amongst these are the Ruination Chambers; warriors of Sigmar's Stormhosts, their souls irreparably damaged but able to withstand ruin's touch. These merciless hosts march against the great cathedral of doom known as Hexeneste, where the Skaven swarms mass…”

The new exhibit is on display at Warhammer World right now, alongside dozens of other incredible displays that bring the many worlds of Warhammer to life, like the epic Tyranid-filled Retreat From Kitzu VII, atmospheric The Envoy’s Cargo,* and The Battle for Ceres City, an immense Legion Imperialis display.
