After a lengthy ban from the NAF, the Chaos Dwarfs are back with a fiery vengeance – and a number of ageless stars from yesteryear, including Hthark the Unstoppable and Rashnak Backstabber, are joining them.
But these aren’t the only two Blood Bowl veterans making a triumphant return: no lesser personage than Zzharg Madeye has primed his blunderbuss and straightened his big hat.
He’s one of the very first Chaos Dwarf star players, and he’s more deranged than ever. And this time, he can turn his gun on the opposition.
He still has all the passing skills you’d expect from a guy who moves the ball by stuffing it into a firearm and launching it upfield – including Hail Mary Pass, Cannoneer, Nerves of Steel, and PA 3+ – but it’s his unique rule that sets him apart (not least from his virtuous Dwarf mirror Barik Farblast).
“Then I Started Blastin’!” allows Zzharg to point his blunderbuss at an opponent. On a 3+, he hits and they have to take an unmodified armour roll – a powerful ability indeed in a tense match. Of course, this being Blood Bowl, he’ll hit himself on a roll of 1. Nuffle always gets his due.
Zzharg Madeye can play for Badlands Brawl and Favoured of Hashut teams. He is made of Forge World resin, and will be released soon alongside the rest of the Chaos Dwarfs.
