The new Warhammer Age of Sigmar Battlescroll has been out in the wild for almost a month now, and the competitive gaming scene is beginning to feel its effects. Matt Rose, lead games developer, has had time to digest the early data, and he’s sat down with Simon Grant from Warhammer TV to unpack the state of the meta.
Today they’re concentrating on some of the win-rate data that has come in since the Battlescroll – how often a faction wins its Matched Play match-ups.
While it is too early to determine the full impact of the Battlescroll, we've already seen some significant changes. Several factions that had previously been over- or underperforming have started to fall into our 45 to 55% win-rate target. Watch the video to see Simon and Matt break things down.
Thanks to the thriving competitive scene, plenty of new data comes in every week, the Warhammer Age of Sigmar team will continue to monitor the state of play ahead of a new Battlescroll early next year.
