The culmination of a cult’s accumulated knowledge of explosives, the Reductus Saboteur is nothing short of a genius when it comes to improvised bombs and incendiary devices. They have a compulsive drive to tinker, tweak, and perfect their art until they’re able to produce deadly chemical concoctions from even the most rudimentary components. To that end, they’re constantly on the lookout for suitable material, scouring toxic sumps and servitor graveyards* for discarded ingredients to scavenge.
A Reductus Saboteur will otherwise spend their days manufacturing every kind of explosive that the cult may need come Ascension Day, from mass-produced blasting charges to arm the hordes of hybrids, to ingeniously constructed booby traps and remotely detonated munitions.
To get the biggest bang for their buck, a Reductus Saboteur is also an expert infiltrator, silently navigating tunnels, and scaling towering buildings to plant their lethal payloads. Indeed, they’re responsible for taking out the military assets and sacred symbols of their oppressors when the cult reveals itself – a symbolic gesture that the time for the long-awaited uprising has come.
