Warhammer fans in Japan, rejoice! The greatest Warhammer store in the country opens its doors on the 3rd of December 2022, kicking off a calendar of awesome celebrations.
Warhammer Store and Cafe: Tokyo is nothing less than the largest, most immersive Warhammer destination in Asia, boasting mountains of hobby essentials, the first on-site stocks of Forge World products in Japan, and ample table space for your favourite games.
We want you to be safe and sound as you celebrate the opening with us, so we’re staying in the party mood for two whole weeks to ensure you have ample time to visit while staying conscious of local government regulations.
Need to recharge after a nail-biting round of Kill Team or Blood Bowl? Just popping in to grab a few paints and miniatures for your next big hobby project? The Warhammer Cafe serves up a range of fun food and drinks, from refreshing Leman Russ Lemonade to a classic cup of Recaf.*
While you're there, make sure to try the "Wrath of Caliban". It starts as a pistachio latte, but you get to choose if you are a member of the Deathwing, Ravenwing, or a "traitorous" member of the fallen, just by adding some chocolate. Make sure to ask for it and choose your allegiance.
You’ll have plenty of time to quaff a drink or two, with fun activities and in-store events throughout the opening period, and more than a few prizes to be won. Among other goodies, a grand selection of commemorative miniatures will be available to take home, featuring all-stars from the last year of store and event exclusives.
Staff have been working very hard to get everything ready for the start of December, and even now they are preparing the store and training to ensure everyone has an incredible Warhammer experience once the doors open for the first time. Entering the store, you’ll be greeted by the largest range of Warhammer stock in Asia, including products from Forge World and much else besides – including plenty of gaming tables to play on (watch out for Organised Play across several Warhammer systems).
There’s even an incredible display board created by the Warhammer Studio team at Warhammer World in Nottingham and shipped over to Japan, showing a chaotic skirmish between the Stormcast Eternals and the Kruleboyz in the heart of a Ghurish swamp.
The Warhammer Store and Café is less than five minutes’ walk from Akihabara Station, placing it slap-bang in the centre of one of Tokyo’s most exciting districts. Doors open at 10am, but don’t worry if you’re standing in line before then – we’ll be keeping you busy with things to do and prizes to win.
