Lieutenant Titus is stepping out of hit game Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 to take on his toughest mission yet – defending the doors of Warhammer World.
A giant statue of the Ultramarines hero has been unveiled today in the entrance hall at our HQ in Nottingham, UK.
This three-metre behemoth comes fresh from a deployment on London’s South Bank, where he appeared temporarily to mark the launch of the game this month. A similar statue stood sentinel over Uber Platz in Berlin.
And from today, this 1:1 scale statue will find its permanent home at the spiritual home of the Warhammer hobby. He replaces the much-loved Great Unclean One plushie known as Nigel Nurgleson, who has graced the atrium for years.*
Builders arrived at 6am this morning to begin installing the statue before doors opened at 10am, and Warhammer Community’s photographer was on hand to snap the first pictures.**
The eagle-eyed among you will recognise the heroic pose that Titus is striking from Weta Workshop’s 1:6 scale statue – just much, much bigger.
So if you’ve ever wanted a photo with a life-sized model of your favourite hero, get down to Warhammer World now.
And if you want to take Titus into battle, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is out now, available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
* Fans of Grandfather Nurgle’s cuddliest minion will be interested to know he will be spreading his contagion internationally, and is heading to a new Warhammer store, opening later this year in Zürich, Switzerland.
