The Skaven are pouring into Aqshy in untold numbers, seeking to overrun the Realm of Fire in the name of the Great Horned Rat. On the eastern flank of the battlefront, the fortress of Hel Crown stands as a key strategic stronghold for the forces of Order, a bulwark between the Skaven and the lands beyond.
Everyone who owns a copy of Skaventide can take part in a global battle to decide the fate of this critical stronghold. The campaign is live now, and you’ve got until the 5th of August to submit your result – each box contains a leaflet with a QR code pointing to a website where you can submit your result.
Whoever wins the battle for Hel Crown will have their whole upcoming range of miniatures revealed in a special preview – it’s up to you to help decide whether that’s the indomitable Stormcast Eternals or the insidious Skaven.
As the Stormcast Eternals and Skaven battle for control of Hel Crown itself, other factions can take their chance to seize power in the surrounding area. On top of results from the Skaventide set, you’ll be able to enter battle results between all other factions at the same site, and influence the lore of the struggle.
It’s up to you how you conduct your battles! You can use the box contents to start your Path to Glory campaign, take on a Matched Play game using the free Faction Packs, or decide it over a tense game of Spearhead.
However you decide to fight, you also have the chance to win all of the Skaven or Stormcast Eternals releases (your choice) until the end of July 2025 – entering a result in the battle enters you into this prize draw. Terms and conditions apply.
If you’re feeling a little daunted at how to approach painting Skaventide, then fear not: the Warhammer Painting Team are convening on Friday the 19th for a very special Hang Out and Paint on YouTube Live.
They’ll be tackling miniatures from the Skaventide box, sharing your work and painting from the wider community, and catching up on people’s Armies on Parade progress. And remember – you can submit your new Skaven or Stormcast Eternals miniatures in a new Skaventide category.
