Cast Your Vote To Crown the Black Library Book of the Year 2023

Last year was a brilliant year for Black Library books, and one which we celebrated with a fantastic Black Library Celebration. With World Book Day just a week away and an ever-growing slate of great titles incoming this year, it’s time for the Black Library Book of the Year vote.

This is your chance to give props to the book you liked the most from February 2023 to January 2024, whether that was the latest entry in the Dawn of Fire series, Chris Wraight’s Sea of Souls, or brooding vampire tale The Last Volari by Gary Kloster. Maybe your favourite was one of the three volumes of The End and the Death, Dan Abnett’s absolutely epic denouement to the Siege of Terra and crowning trilogy of the Horus Heresy saga.

Perhaps your favourite book was Graham McNeill’s Lords of the Lance, the first story set in the World of Legend and the first novel about Bretonnians in over a decade – whatever glued your eyes to the page, now is the time to vote on your favourite.

Maybe Angron: The Red Angel by David Guymer got your blood pumping, or the return of the Primarch of the Dark Angels in The Lion: Son of the Forest by Mike Brooks was your moment of the year? If those were too grandiose, maybe Jonathan D Beer’s gritty Warhammer Crime thriller The King of the Spoil will earn your vote, or the dark mystery at the heart of Richard Strachan’s Temple of Silence.

Whichever tale is your favourite, you can only submit one vote – and only one book can be crowned the Black Library Book of the Year 2023. Cast your vote now, or think it over for a few days – you’ve got until Monday, the 4th of March, to make your decision. Stay tuned to Warhammer Community to catch the final results.
