The new Warhammer 40,000 App is a brilliant tool for your games of Warhammer 40,000. It contains the Core Rules for the game, the Index datasheets and Combat Patrol rules for every army, and even a designers’ commentary – all just the tap of a finger away.
The Battle Forge tool really helps you to plan army lists quickly and easily, and share them for printing or reference. That element of the App is currently free, but it will only remain so until the end of August.
From the 30th of August, you’ll need to subscribe to Warhammer+ in order to access the full features of Battle Forge. The other tools in the app will remain free, and it will continue as an excellent reference for the most up-to-date rules for Warhammer 40,000. The Index datasheets, Combat Patrol rules, and Core Rules references will remain accessible even without a subscription.
You can try out the Warhammer 40,000 App and its Battle Forge army list planner below.
That’s not all that a Warhammer+ subscription nets you. There’s also an extensive library of fabulous Warhammer animations through Warhammer TV, such as Hammer and Bolter, Angels of Death, and Blacktalon.
Then there are exclusive video series like Battle Report, which features a wide variety of matched play, narrative, and custom games across every Warhammer system. You can watch in-depth painting tutorials from Citadel Colour Masterclass, and get detailed investigations into the factions, characters, and settings of Warhammer in Loremasters.
As if that weren’t enough, there’s the Warhammer Vault – a repository of Warhammer lore and tomes, including White Dwarf issues past and present, as well as fascinating excerpts of lore from older Warhammer publications.
On top of all that, you also get to pick a free miniature that’s initially exclusive to a Warhammer+ subscription.
